A Dong Silk

Wow, where to start! For anyone coming into Hoi An to have clothes made, I cannot recommend A Dong Silk and, specifically, their tailor, Van, enough. Whether it was helping me decide what fabrics to choose or helping make sure the final products fit perfectly, Van was incredible and made the whole process incredibly enjoyable. What’s more, she helped me across a range of clothes, including linen shirts, two amazing suits and a beautiful black trench coat. All in all, I am so thankful for Van and the craftsmanship and expertise at A Dong Silk. Truly a must for anyone in Hoi An!

From start to end the experience at A Dong Silk with Le was first class. She was patient and accommodating but not afraid to give an opinion which was very helpful. Process from start to finish took 48h with one visit to select fabrics and suit design and two subsequent fittings. Also willing to negotiate on price, with discounts for multiple suits, shirts etc. (I bought a tuxedo and summer suit for £180 each). Very happy with the experience and end product. They also retain your measurements for future purchase and shipping. 100% recommend.

My husband, mother and I came to Hoi An on 3rd February to make a couple of suits and dresses for my upcoming event. We were served by Suong, Le and Van who were excellent. Suong - was very attentive to my husband's needs and he ended up making 2 sets of 3 piece suits and 5 shirts which were of excellent quality. Van - attended to my mother and helped to pick out a very nice and unique fabric for her outerwear. Le - Initially I only wanted to make 1 cheongsam inspired dress but went ahead to make another similar one which was a 2 piece. She was always attentive and even gave us extra buttons to take home. Overall, the pieces were made quickly within 3 days; the women were always up for the challenge and we picked a A Dong Silk as they were one of the few shops who were game enough to make a cheongsam and my mom's coat. The other shops were not confident they could make it. Big thumbs up to the 3 ladies for their service :)

A truly outstanding customer service experience. I was very satisfied with the staff’s expertise, efficiency, communication, and delivery. I was very impressed by the 24hour turnaround time and the quality of the finished products. The price was similar to other experiences with tailors around Việt Nam, but was much better value given how much faster the service was. Thank you to Ms Lệ for her outstanding support and professionalism. I will be sure to use their services moving forward.

We had a great experience here! It was very easy to talk to the girls and very easy to get what we wanted. They are very professional and ready to listen. All the stuff was also very nice and polite too. We got hand made natural silk pants made. Now can’t stop wearing them! Highly recommend to visit if you want some clothes made!

Amazing shop! Vin was very kind, attentive talented and helpful. She asked lots of questions and made sure i was happy with the outfit at every stage. And the end result was exactly what i described! Definitely recommend coming here if you want warm service and high competency!

We had Nga as our tailor. Very good and accommodating. She's polite and met our expectations on suits. Highly recommend Nga as the attendant, probably as good as the others! And the place for custom suits. Multiple appointments on a timely manner to ensure we are happy with the outcome. The quality of fabric is also excellent! Thank you for the exceptional delivery!

I had my wedding dress made at A Dong Silk with Loan and my fiancé had 2 suits, a blazer, and a button-down shirt made with Diem. We are both so happy with our finished products. Loan and Diem were so wonderful to work with from start to finish and provided helpful feedback and suggestions along the way. They are incredibly talented and work with amazing seamstresses. We are so pleased with this process and wholeheartedly recommend A Dong Silk if you are visiting Hoi An!!
