900 Grayson

It was busy but as I walked through the door, owner greeted me and upon learning that I was flying solo… gave me a plethora of options. Server (possibly second owner?) came very quickly and his style was pure gold ie pleasant, efficient, effortless and a hawk eye for detail. Food arrived without drama and probably faster than it should have. I don’t know how I missed this gem. You shouldn’t.

900 Grayson was phenomenal. Ordered the Demon Lover (Chicken & Waffles). You have a choice of syrup, gravy, or both. I ordered both. Chicken was seasoned well and waffle was soft. Overall very flavorful. 900 Grayson also has their own sauces that elevate the flavor. The ambience of this place was amazing. Music was pretty great too. The decor, incredible. Customer service was impeccable. My partner never once had to ask for a refill on his tea. Staff was attentive and polite. You can tell that the people who run 900 Grayson truly care about their customers and their restaurant.

Love this place. Even though you can find traditional items here, these guys have their own take on breakfast and it’s so refreshing. Their waffles are different and delicious. They make their own jam!!! One time hey had shakshuka on the menu (i think they twitch items on menu sometimes).

Two brothers own and manage this wonderful place! We always feel welcomed and cared for. The food is outstanding - best waffle around, and food cones hit with plenty of coffee. The price is incredibly fair and service is well - fantastic and efficient. I hate to write this good review because I don’t like to share favorite spots for breakfast- but it is ell deserved.

900 Grayson in Berkeley is a great breakfast & lunch restaurant that attracts a loyal following of dedicated customers who are in love with their delicious menu items. While we were visiting from New York, we heard that we had to plan to at least come here for breakfast! We were very impressed with their service and our delicious breakfast!

Super pick for a cozy brunch. Small but refined menu and everything is delicious. The chicken and waffles are top notch! Hot sauce and jam are all homemade which make it even homier. Highly Recommend

I gave 1 star because there's no 0! I love this place been coming for years.I got a to go order. But today I ordered the Demon lover chicken and waffles I always get this and it was terrible. The chicken was not totally fried it was more like soft stale leftover! worst of all the must have forgotten the spices on the breading of the chicken because it was flavorless!!! The chicken is usually fried and crunchy and the seasoning is amazing u can just pick up bits of fried breading and it's delicious but not today nothing crunchy and no flavor. Usually you can see the seasoning and tasted it. and the waffle was not cooked all the way. The syrup was watery and light colored. Usually it's better quality syrup. I payed around $18 for this. I would have gone back to ask them to make another one but this was my breakfast on my way to work so I didn't have time to go back and wait. I won't be coming back there's other places cheaper but I was willing to spend $18 for this because it's usually great but today it wasn't worth half of it. I felt like I got ripped off and disappointed because I was really looking forward to this meal all week.

The fried chicken sandwich was average at best. The chicken itself was not particularly flavorful, the cole slaw didn’t add much to it and the bread was just fine. Fries were too oily. It came with a pickle which I do not appreciate since it was not listed on the menu and I would’ve asked to not put it on my plate. I ate it as it’s still fried chicken so hard to make it actually bad, but I would not order this item again. I really likes the ambiance and service so I might go back and try a different dish.
