Nestled in the heart of the Alps, this modern hotel seamlessly blends chic architecture with thermal luxury and breathtaking mountain views.
"These Peter Zumthor-designed thermal baths pay homage to the Swiss region ’s natural hot springs, discovered more than a century ago. Accessed only by guests of the 7132 Hotel , House of Architects , and 7132 Glenner (three properties under the 7132 brand umbrella), the baths were made from 60,000 slabs of Vals quartzite, and have a sensual, mystical feel. Granted protected heritage status, the highly mineralized water hovers around 86 degrees Fahrenheit, and on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the baths may be enjoyed until 1 a.m. Spa services including massages, body wraps, facials, and scrubs are offered in addition to the unique bathing experience. You’ll have to leave your electronic devices back in the room though, as they aren’t permitted in the tranquil thermal bathing area." - Stacey Lastoe
"And now, in Hotel 7132, this village has a hotel that’s worthy of sharing space with the famous spa." - Le Guide MICHELIN
"Therme Vals, the thermal baths designed by architect Peter Zumthor, have long been regarded as a masterpiece, the sort of place where architecture and design junkies make pilgrimages to commune with the quartzite temple that houses the geothermic waters. And now, in Hotel 7132, this village has a hotel that’s worthy of sharing space with the famous spa." - Le Guide MICHELIN
"With its thermal baths crafted from 60,000 slabs of local quartzite by none other than Peter Zumthor, 7132 Hotel Vals—named after the area’s postcode—is a destination for both wellness and design. For its House of Architects sister hotel, 7132 tapped Tadao Ando, Kengo Kuma, Thom Mayne, and Zumthor to create a series of Zen-like suites overlooking the Grison mountains."
