Checking in was effortless, setting the tone for a smooth and enjoyable stay. The hotel’s design is undeniably bold, eclectic, and full of character—every corner is filled with artistic and cultural elements that invite curiosity. While the decor can feel a little overwhelming at times, it’s also part of the hotel’s charm, making every visit feel like an experience in itself.
As an Accor Gold member, I was upgraded to the XL Room, which was spacious, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed. The playful yet meaningful ornaments added personality, making the room feel warm and inviting. The shower was exceptional—powerful and invigorating, easily one of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel.
One thing to note is that the hotel does not operate as a full-service property. Items such as dental kits, cotton buds, shower caps, slippers, and bathrobes are not provided in the room, which might be unexpected for some guests. When I tried to request a dental kit around 8:30 PM, my calls to the front desk went unanswered despite multiple attempts. Fortunately, the hotel has a lobby kiosk selling essentials, though it is somewhat cluttered, making it less convenient to browse quickly.
The room view mainly consists of railway tracks leading to the main train station, which may not be the most scenic but is a small trade-off considering the hotel’s central location.
Staff were generally friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast selection, while not extensive, was well-curated, and the croissants were particularly outstanding—some of the best I’ve had outside of France.
Overall, 25hours Hotel Langstrasse offers a unique, well-located, and thoughtfully designed stay. While it may not provide all the amenities of a traditional full-service hotel, its vibrant personality and excellent location make it a strong choice for those looking for something a little different. I would gladly return.
