I attended a training course and they took us here for a field trip. I'm truly happy I attended. I didn't know a museum was built here. I remember the marketplace, but this new addition is worth the visit. There is so much history that must be preserved and taught. I learned so much. I remembered learning about the different Haitian flags, but seeing them brought history to life for me. They have art displays and exhibits. They have a learning center there too, which is really cool. They have after-school and summer school programs. If you can donate to them. This is a wonderful place for the community and culture, so let's keep supporting. This place is worth visiting

I attended this 'well organized' event and it was an amazing day! The persons who are responsible for pulling it together deserve tremendous acknowledgment as everything was well coordinated from start time to the finish!! I met many Haitian professionals people, authors, young entrepreneurs, business owners, entertainers and those working to improve the quality of life in the Florida Haitian communities--kudos to you all-- Plan to attend other celebratory events being held in FL (in spite of those who are attempting to exclude historical facts from books and universities). The truth always rises to the top!

I came to educate myself re Haitian culture and history. It was actually a wet, coldish (for Miami, ie 69!) Winter Sunday - and it was raining, but whatever that's not gonna stop me. The historical building still looks a little jaded. I could only see it from the outside as it was shut, whether the reason was covid or a Sunday I am not sure. I attended a 12 week training class at the Cultural. The complex is a great space with a Multi Vendor Caribbean Marketplace. They have English and Kreyôl (Creole for the non natives) classes, for free. Various Community Classes, After School Programs and Summer Camps just to name a few. The Proscenium Theatre is another great part; I've never attended an event there but I hear good things. There are many events held here throughout the year. I enjoy my time there and will return as often as possible. They have a friendly very helpful staff. One of my favorite s of the aforementioned events is Pork Is Good. Don't miss a chance to stroll around this Miami hidden gem.

If you ever in Little Haiti go to the market and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and the fantastic food of Haiti. The taste of the food, music, wonderful paintings and clothing of the past, present and future of Haiti and Little Haiti. The paintings on the side of the buildings the language of the people engulf you in the culture of Haiti. Once a month they will up their doors and offer free tours of Little Haiti to explain the rich history of Little Haiti. The guided tour will explain all of the paintings and statues around Little Haiti. You will be amaze about the information you find out about Little Haiti. The tour guide has a wealth of knowledge and he is very friendly. He said, each tour was different and you will something new everytime you go on the tour.

This review is a bit overdue and it was months ago when I first discovered the Little Haiti Cultural Center. From the first time I was given a tour of the space, I fell in love with the facilities, the people, and their mission. That's why we threw Yelp's Big Bite in Little Haiti at this venue in September... More people need to know it exists! In addition to the Caribbean Marketplace where a variety of events take place, LHCC is comprised of a school area with a bunch of classrooms, a large theater, dance rooms, and an art gallery. The Miami Heat chose to redo a couple of their classrooms, including the computer lab, a couple of years ago and those are pretty cool! I love when my meetings coincide with after school hours because you really get an appreciation for what this place means to so many families. How can you visit? Keep an eye on their Facebook page and website for programming. The monthly Big Night in Little Haiti event draws crowds every third Friday and supposed to be a great time. I recently came back for Art Beat Miami as part of Art Basel. As Little Haiti continues to draw more eyeballs from businesses looking to break out of Wynwood, I hope that the cultural integrity remains, as I know the residents would like it to. It'll be an interesting few years ahead but I look forward to continuing to spend time with the wonderful folks behind the Little Haiti Cultural Center and (hopefully) throw some more Yelp events there soon!

Great venue space in the heart of Miami's Little Haiti neighborhood. It features a gallery, classrooms, dance studios, an open outdoor stage and breezeway, auditorium, and attached market place. there is also plenty of parking in 2 dedicated lots as well as street parking around the property. I've had the chance to attend multiple event at this space including, concerts, film fests, plays, art shows, corporate activations, government events, block parties, etc. The space also has its own ongoing programming with dance classes, art classes, local markets, and monthly food events.

A great artistic space to enjoy live music and art exhibits. Beautiful building, nice architectural structure and decent sized area for live performances.

A wonderful and valuable asset to the 'Little Haiti' community and beyond. Enlightening workshops, lectures and a place to gather. Stunning, huge, beautifully executed photographic canvases are eye-opening and dynamic. Very high ceilings and a modernist decor combine for a memorable experience. Proprietor and residing artist/journalist Carl Juste, the Haiti born and always involved son of original 'founder' Father Jean Juste, has lived this Miami transformation and is both energetic and passionate about connecting with guests. Beautiful, huge outdoor murals in the immediate area partially chronicle the history and the struggle for acknowledgement. In itself, little Haiti is a meaningful part of greater Miami and is worth a visit. Perfect is a lunch or dinner at one of the area eateries before or after time spent in this wonderful gallery and center. Highly recommended.

I'm getting a complex from all the culture! We stopped by here on Saturday after work. They had a great DJ, interesting artwork inside and vendors outside. It wasn't too crowded, which meant we didn't have long to wait for delicious icees and conch salad! With easy parking, I'll definitely be back the next time they have an event!

A great combination of live music, vibrant art, delicious food and interesting people. Even the people who were there only to be seen made much a do of it. If only those who spoke in tribute of culture, art and history could have told us more about Haiti than what we already see on TV. I would have loved to hear a folk or true story, poem or literature from a Haitian Historian. Nevertheless, we were introduced into the tradition of Haitian food and now I am afraid I am hooked. One critique is that every event has it bumps in preparation ...which should remain behind the scenes. The hostesses/hosts can direct guests to focus on the art/introduce the artists and have them talk to the guests while things are finished being set up. No one will think anything of the late start if the start is intentionally delayed with activities. One thing I noticed that ethnic festival and fair planners do that confuses me, is they invite politicians to speak, not knowing what that person will say or how they will act. In my humble opinion, if that person is just a guest, announce their attendance but don't give them the microphone unless you can be sure that what comes out his/her mouth will be useful to your cause. Unfortunately, I have always viewed their contributions at ethnic events to exemplify the very prejudice, ignorance about the event that we wish to overcome. Besides the awkwardness of witnessing tension between organizers and the politician who was unprepared to speak, this was an awesome event. I encourage everyone to attend in the future, for a taste of Haiti. Thank you Yelp for allowing me to attend and review this event.

This place usually holds cultural events for Haitians and the diaspora. They hold their marketplace and bigger events on Saturday. The woman at the front desk answered every question I had and asked was really nice about it. There is a small coffee shop for drinks and light snacks. They also had a vegan chef serving Haitian goods too

Had a great time at this weekend's Creole Food Festival. The food was excellent although not many stations. I went in the past and it was much larger. Really nice day and a good time.

Really a beautiful establishment, full of cultural material! I've only been once at the screening of a show. I plan to go again!

So I have been here a couple of times actually even though it says Ive checked in here only once. The first time I visited the Little Haiti Cultural Center was to experience a great dance performance by the Ailey Group I believe. My friend is on their executive board and she had invited me to come and I am so glad I went. It was wonderful! On my second visit, I took my son to a Free African music event for kids where we got to learn about the Kora. A very interesting African instrument that precedes the harp. We also learned about the Balaphone or Bala and other instruments. My son and I both got to play them and it was a wonderful experience. The place itself is very clean and has different rooms for different purposes. I always find parking and there seem to be a lot of different events going on all the time!

When Yelp! puts on events, they go all out! This surely is something I learned quickly! The last event I attended at the Little Haiti Cultural Center far exceeded that thought however. Bringing a true community-first vibe and way of living and learning and sharing, One could feel only warmth and the love at this center located right in the middle of Miami's Little Haiti area where a lot of navitives from the country aformented reside. We were attending a Yelp! event, but I was very interested in learning more about the center and what they do for the youth and community. I was greeted and leactured by young, hardworking children who did just that and and told me all about how they bring the community together and give back. I was then invited to walk the grounds, see the pristene rooms and outside areas, and really take in what the center has to offer. I love how our city does bring its cultures together and makes you feel as though you can be a part of something larger. Great time and a great spot!

Dear Little Haiti Cultural Center, What a beautiful & large facility located in the heart of Little Haiti. I had never been here and was excited to see that The Gathering Place's Green Baby Fair was using your location. The event was Saturday and it was pretty packed with people. I wasn't aware that so many people knew about the event, so I was pleasantly surprised by the large crowd. I love all the artwork everywhere; from murals to sculptures and every medium in between. There were seminars being held indoors and the fair was located in the center courtyard underneath rows of tents. The indoor areas are impressive - beautifully clean hallways, nice sized classrooms, clean bathrooms, plenty of space. I would love to come to more events here, as this space really lends itself well for large gatherings. To the owners - well done!!! This is just fantastic!! All the best, SabrinaAnna*

Another very cool place that I would have never known about if it was not for YELP. I think its great that they have established a great relationship with YELP and there has been several events there.

went here for my daughters Sports Night Award Ceremony and the place was extremely clean and looked like it was well kept and maintained. definitely will keep it in mind for any events in the future.

A beautiful facility with a nice courtyard, marketplace-style exhibit hall, and great staff. I recently attended a Yelp event here and the place was really nice. I'm not sure what they do here on regular days, but I would visit again for another event.

Love the complex. I've attended several events there in the past. It's clean and inviting. The director Sandy Dorsainvil is very helpful and accommodating.

Tons of activities take place at the cultural center. Live bands perform every third Friday nights, art auctions, movie filmings and art camps for children are some of the venue's events . Most events are absolutely free of charge! Can't beat that!

I was here for the Reflektors Concert (Arcade Fire) and it was a super small show which was less than 2,000 people. So being my first time here I was surprised to see that they would be able to support this kind of event. It was definitely different, and very intimate with the band, sound and lighting were fine although the drink and food lines were sub par at best. (remember this was not meant to be a concert venue). Would I ever come back here? Probably not, unless my daughter becomes of age and we would come for historical purposes, or another show rolls through town. But all in all, I want to thank the people of the city responsible for allowing such a unique show to play here.

We found the cutest stuff in their market. Decor, linens, bags and accessories handmade and inexpensive. The staff couldn't be nicer and spoiled us with gifts for our purchases. Get off the beaten path and visit. You will not regret the trek.

Went to event when it first opened. Shleu-Shleu a Haitian band performed live. It was so much fun.
