1908 Lisboa Hotel

The hotel was very accommodating for or 4 month old son. They provided a crib, tub, towel, and other items to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The staff was terrific - everyone was very accommodating and helpful. The room itself was very nice - clean, modern, and quiet. Great location - we appreciated it was away from the droves of cruise ship tourists, yet close to public transit and very walkable. Breakfast was exceptional. Highly recommend the hotel and we will return.

Loved this place. We were there for 3 days and had a good sized room overlooking the square but we had no problem with noise. The location is great, just a 10 minute walk from the attractions. Food was lovely as well, very good breakfast and we also had an evening meal there which my favourite out of our whole trip. Best thing about this hotel was the staff - very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay here again and would be happy to recommend it.

This hotel is in an old building that has been extensively updated. The neighborhood appears to be transitional, and by that I mean on the way up, not down. There is a very nice restaurant in the hotel and a wonderful breakfast is included. There are other nice restaurants near the hotel, on a placa that serves as the main entrance to the hotel just off a main street. The staff were just incredibly polite and helpful, very good English spoken (probably other languages as well as Portuguese). The rooms were European small, but very clean and well-equipped. If you're driving, call ahead so they can tell you where to park while you unload, then they will park the car in a nearby garage for a small fee. This was a very nice place.

Beautifully renovated old building. Room was elegant with high ceilings; bathroom was stylish and functional but with a very small shower. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was definitely the most varied and best quality we encountered: freshly baked breads, freshly squeezed orange juice. Great location on the plaza in the Moroccan neighborhood.

This hotel was a great place to stay for my vacation. The hospitality was great from all the staffs. They all attended to your special needs and was very helpful when asking for guidance. The front desk staff are the most friendly people I have meet at any hotel. My special shout out to Mafalda and Catarina for making my vacation a wonderful holiday. Bravo to you 1908 Hotel your the best.

A simply elegant old beauty of a building has been turned into a boutique hotel with great attention to detail and preservation of the original charm. There is a small restaurant and a bar area that was closed but I hope they will open again. It was open on my prior visit in 2018 and I missed it this trip. There are very different kinds of rooms so if you are particular about size, balconies etc., be sure to ask when you book. I wound up this time in a very small room which was perfectly adequate for my needs but had a “view” of the avenue which is not particularly attractive. The beds are super comfy and the best part of the hotel is the wonderful staff who are both professional and warm!

We had a wonderful stay. Our room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and well-appointed. And the staff was very helpful and accommodating of a large group. Breakfast was delicious and the location was good, accessible to public transportation, restaurants and cafes and walking distance to major attractions. Will definitely return!

If I could give more stars for the service I would. The reception staff were so helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble, their aim was to make your trip to Lisbon as successful as possible. I was unsure about their advice re the tourist tram/bus but it was worthwhile. The hotel is quirky, clean, an interesting blend of old and hip. Location is convenient but unfortunately not in the most trendy area. Breakfast is so yummy, as is the restaurant INFAME. We ate there twice as it was so good. Highly recommend it. Thanks team 1908.
