On the Grid : Santa Barbara Botanic Garden

"A wonderful place to come spend a morning or afternoon strolling on one of their several footpaths. The Garden’s 78 acres are made up of mostly native plants, and have an amazing view of both the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Santa Barbara Channel islands. My favorite area is the Redwoods Section, nice and shady with those big beautiful trees towering over you. If you come in the spring, there might even be water in the stream nearby." - Amanda Proudfit
