"J & S Bean Factory, Highland Park by Jenny Bookler. Colorful, quirky, and unbelievable good, this neighborhood staple is a great place to spend the day sipping coffee, reading the newspaper, and relaxing on the patio. The menu is filled with home roasted black coffee, artisan pours, Cubanos, cappuccinos , pastries and treats. They also have a selection of staff-inspired specialty drinks such as Mike's Bomb and The Night Rider (a highly caffeinated drink for bikers). Ask the friendly staff, and they will tell you about their beans and roasting process. They pride themselves on serving the best beans directly from the farmers, roasted in house, and served fresh. Truly, this is the good stuff."
