"When a city is nearly 500 years old, a lot of changes will inevitably happen and Barrio Alameda was hasn't been the exception. The building of Barrio Alameda was born in the 1920s and was the home of many doctors, lawyers, journalists and other professionals. Yet throughout the years and the earthquake of 1985, Barrio Alameda was badly affected and deteriorated. In recent years the newly restored building has new tenants and new stories to tell.
