"Rita's, West La. Try Italian ice flavors like green apple, Georgia peach, mango, mint chip, strawberry, or cotton candy. Their menu is always changing and ices are made fresh daily. Our favorite of their offerings though is by far their gelati, which is basically creamy frozen custard (think frozen yogurt), followed by a layer of Italian ice, followed by another layer of creamy frozen custard! They have several other creamy frozen concoctions that involve the combining of Italian ice and custard, so it’s definitely worth multiple visits."
