"Lincoln Hall, Lincoln Park. Long before it was a music venue, the building that now hosts Lincoln Hall rose to fame when FBI snipers took over the rooftop to prevent mobster John Dillinger from escaping the nearby Biograph Theatre the night he was killed. These days, the happenings at Lincoln Hall are a lot less dramatic but definitely not any less exciting. On any given night you can catch a variety of music, from hip hop to folk to rock. While it's much bigger than its sister venue Schubas, it still retains that same feeling of intimacy. So grab a beer, settle in on the main floor or balcony and enjoy the show."
