"There's a few coffee shops in Lincoln Square—The Grind being a favorite—but the newest to the caffeine scene is Oromo Cafe. What makes them different is that they're nutty about milk, literally. They make a lineup of house-made nut milks, free of artificial sugars and blended with "superfoods". The proprietary milks, made daily, start with the raw base nut—pistachio, pecan, almond or hazelnut. After a good night's soak in filtered water, the nuts are blended, then meticulously strained before adding a touch of vanilla and raw organic coconut sugar. They're served straight or with added spices, herbs and fruits. Some interesting concoctions are made from this like the maple maca, pecan latte and an espresso flavored with pistachio milk and rose. Their pastries and cakes are also not to miss." - Knoed Creative
