"This restaurant has a long and very interesting history, starting with the building itself (around 300 years old) and continuing with the history of the family at the helm, who have been here since 1930 and once provided support for the Royal Marines. The dining room boasts a rustic yet personalised decor with exposed brickwork and contemporary furnishings, while the cuisine focuses on fresh ingredients that are full of flavour. Our inspector particularly recommends the pappardelle pasta with a duck ragù and a few chopped hazelnuts for added flavour." - Michelin Inspector
