"Vegan cafes are not places you’d typically find an Infatuation staffer, but the sheer friendliness and vibe at Mother are ridiculously hard not to like. It’s in a pretty canalside location in the Here East Olympic development out by Hackney Wick, and the salads and smoothies actually taste great - not something we can say about the majority of sad-looking sprout salads that we’ve tried elsewhere. It’s good for a post-workout meal, or a healthy pick-me-up. Pull up a seat, order an acai bowl, and pretend you’re somewhere exotic and warm." - David Paw
