"This place is not actually named after a man called Bob White—instead it’s named for a bird called the Bobwhite. But if there were a Bob White behind it, we’d want to thank him for his fried chicken. At the location of this counter chain, you can order tenders, a hefty sandwich, and a chicken caesar wrap with crispy fried chicken, which is a notable upgrade from the grilled variety. We prefer the original on Avenue C, but if you’re in Union Square, this is a solid choice for a quick lunch. It’s also right next to , a Singaporean spot, in case you’d like to follow your fried chicken with some poached chicken. " - Willa Moore
