"If you’re looking for a kitschy, old-school dining experience in Glendale, Damon’s is where you go. The steakhouse/tiki bar has been around since 1937 and is the kind of place where unadulterated escapism hits you the moment you walk through the door. Bamboo roofs cover the main dining room and fake tropical plants sprout up from every corner. There’s a giant wooden canoe suspended over the tables.
