"For over a decade now, Minetta Tavern has been hard to get into. But it isn’t too hard to secure a walk-in seat at the bar, and you can often find reservations at off-peak hours. A cross between a bistro and a steakhouse, this Greenwich Village institution has the same old-school feel as Monkey Bar (red leather booths, servers in ties, etc.), and the menu is similar, too. Come here for a special occasion, and eat steak, french fries, and one of the best burgers in town." - Bryan Kim
