Kitchen Cô Út shared by @infatuation says: ""If you have a sick friend, there is no better gift you could give them than the phở gà from Kitchen Cô Út in Chinatown. It’s packed with tender, dark meat chicken, and has a depth of flavor in the broth that’s hard to find elsewhere. While you're there making your friends' day, it only makes sense to sit down and order a bowl for yourself, too. The large space on Chrystie Street works for a quick solo lunch with a vietnamese iced coffee, and the lighting is nice and low enough for a casual dinner. We also really like the bún bò huế, a somewhat harder-to-find noodle soup that Kitchen Cô Út does exceptionally well. photo credit: David A. Lee photo credit: David A. Lee photo credit: David A. Lee Food Rundown Phở Gà Anyone who has ever hated on a chicken broth-based soup needs to come here and order the phở gà. That should take care of that. Bún Bò Huế This pork and beef-based noodle soup is a lot harder to find in Chinatown than phở. Kitchen Cô Út’s version is great. It’s funky from the shrimp paste, and full of lots of meat, and bouncy wheat noodles."" on Postcard
