"I learned that Ignacio Mattos will no longer be overseeing the kitchen at Corner Bar in Nine Orchard; the change, set to take effect in March, follows a licensing deal that runs through the summer and leaves his future involvement undecided. It’s an unusual outcome for a chef who helped make the hotel a spot embraced by both tourists and New Yorkers and whose work at the property garnered a two-star Pete Wells review in The New York Times.
