Salt & Straw Ice Cream Launches Student-Inspired Menu - Eater San Diego
"The Little Italy scoop shop is serving up its special monthly menu for April starting today. This time around, the flavors were created by co-founder and head ice cream maker Tyler Malek based on suggestions by California elementary school students with a portion of the proceeds from the new lineup going to benefit the schools. The menu includes Mango Chamoy Sorbet, Maple Peanut Butter Brioche French Toast, Coke Float Carmel Volcano, Lots a’ Nacho which features cheddar cheese ice cream with tomato jam, candied tortilla chips, and avocado fudge, and The Cookie Monster, a blue-hued vanilla ice cream featuring chunks of black fudge and Oreo cookies." - Candice Woo
