"Hopleaf is arguably the one spot that could cause actual rioting if it was left off this list. Since opening in 1992, the Andersonville craft beer hotspot offers everything from storied Belgian imports to unique Brooklyn IPAs to special releases from local spots like Marz Community Brewing and Revolution Brewing. The food is quite good, but two or three beers and a plate of frites is the perfect order. The space doesn’t have TVs and is strictly 21-plus. This place is a bar for folks who don’t mind putting their phones away and partaking in old-fashioned conversation." - Adam Rothbarth
