King Arthur Baking Company Picks Charleston’s Sugar Bakeshop for Donation Program | Eater Carolinas
"A Cannon Street bakery run by owner Kat Palmisano, Sugar Bakeshop is participating in King Arthur’s program and will make 350 holiday iced sugar cookies for One80 Place; Palmisano says the program not only provides the bakery with business and the ability to keep staff employed and pay the bills, but also helps feed people in the community who are struggling. She acknowledges that the cookies aren’t "exactly fighting hunger" but hopes they will spread love and cheer, and says she’s honored that the very small bakery can do something meaningful and helpful during this crazy rollercoaster of a year." - Erin Perkins
