"Sunday in Brooklyn feels very, well... Brooklyn . The space is warm and rustic, enlivened reclaimed wood beams, terra cotta tiled floors and copious amounts of potted plants. The pancakes—impossibly thick, fluffy and topped with a pool of hazelnut maple praline and a pat of brown butter—are the star of the show here. They may be a bit rich for one person, but they're a must for the table. The rest of the menu features American classics with a twist: Avocado toast comes with a swirl of cilantro tahini, an omelette with swipes of mole and goat cheese. The shakshuka, accompanied with a slice of house-made focaccia, is an excellent way to warm up on a cold day. The cocktails here are downright playful: One brunch favorite, the fruity and tropical "Honeybear on Vacation," comes in a repurposed bear-shaped honey bottle, perched jauntily on ice. The non-alcoholic options are equally fun and intricate: Try the Mango Daisy, made with Seedlip and rimmed with Tajín." - Andrea Whittle
