"Give us the big picture: What’s the vibe of the place, what’s it like? The new stadium for the Nashville Sounds has an air of nostalgia, like an old-timey ballpark from a 1950's movie. While it honors a favorite American pastime, it still has all the modern amenities you'll want for when you're out with friends or the kids. What kinds of events can we see here? Baseball games from April through September, and the occasional concert or special event. How are the seats? It's a smaller park since it's home to a AAA team (an affiliate of the Oakland A's). But that means every seat has a view. If you're looking to socialize, buy a ticket to the 4,000-square-foot Band Box, located in right field. It has a bar, ping-pong tables, and elevated park food, such as smoked pork nachos and a Korean fried chicken sandwich with sorghum Sriracha glaze. Is it good for kids? Kids will love First Horizon Park. There's even a nine-hole mini-golf course, called the Country Club, if they get bored with the baseball. Anything in particular that makes this place special, from the programming to a unique feature it has? The Country Club and the Band Box are the park's true standouts. Where else can you go watch a game while also working on your putting or playing cornhole? If we’re going to be in town, what—and who—do you think this is best for? A family night out in the warm summer months." - Kristin Luna
