TOURISTS shared by @cntraveler says: ""Tourists is a 48-room modern mountain hotel in the village of Blackinton, just west of North Adams. Originally planned as a refurbishment of a roadside motel, it has evolved into a project aimed at reinvigorating the post-industrial village. The hotel features a rustic lounge and bar, rooms with decks and full walls of windows, and grounds filled with apple trees and walking paths designed by landscape architecture firm Reed Hildebrand. Amenities include a saltwater pool, an event space, and a wooden suspension bridge. A deconsecrated church will become Loom, a restaurant led by chef Cortney Burns, serving herbaceous, vegetable-forward food. The hotel also offers breakfast and picnic spreads designed by Burns. Rooms are comfortable with thoughtful touches, and the hotel has its own short-wave FM radio station for music. It caters to travelers looking to explore local attractions like Mass MoCA and offers a pet-friendly environment."" on Postcard
