Several tour companies now offer itineraries to enclaves such as Bang Krachao—a verdant, undeveloped area on a bend of the Chao Phraya that's known as Bangkok's "green lung"—Chinatown, and Rattanakosin Island, home to star attractions such as Wat Pho and the Grand Palace. Another fine place to take to two wheels is on the Thonburi side of the river.
