"Explore Gothenburg's Culinary Scene This is the perfect place to explore some of the culinary possibilities in Gothenburg. The old indoor food market first opened in 1889. At that time, 92 different food stalls could be found in the building. Today there are not quite as many, but you will still find all the cheese, fish, meat, fruit, nuts, and oils that you might ever need. If you don’t feel like cooking, there are several restaurants to choose from. Kåge’s Hörna, with limited seating around the bar, serves traditional Swedish husmanskost (meatballs) and pannbiff med lök (like a hamburger without the brioche, served with fried onion, boiled potatoes, gravy, and lingonberries)."
