Zekreet Beach

We visited Zekreet Beach on one of the Saturdays of November 2025. The area is an excellent spot for camping. During our visit, the water was extremely low tide, so it wasn’t ideal for swimming if that’s your main plan. The beach also does not have any public washrooms, so it’s best to come prepared. We explored the surroundings to look for nice areas for photos. There is a well-known spot called Film City, but it is no longer open to the public. It became privately owned and has remained closed since the pandemic. According to the security guards, access may still be granted depending on event availability. Despite this, there are still several scenic views and beautiful spots around the area. We found some great locations just by driving around and were able to take lovely photos there. Fortunately, the weather was cool and comfortable during our visit, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Zekreet is also not very far from Doha City (we drove from West Bay), making it a convenient destination. Overall, Zekreet Beach is highly recommended for camping and other outdoor activities.

One of the best beach in Qatar but worst without Washroom facilities. No toilets no mosque, no changing area. Think Qatar government Qatar tourism department must take actions to improve. It can be prominent tourist attraction. Sun set viewing is awesome.

Many people but not crowded. Mostly hard surfaces with wet sand.

Have visited the beach on a desert trip. It would be much greater to visit durning winter. There weren’t many spots to get out of the 40+ degree heat. It was still a nice place to sit and have a lunch break.Nice and quite place for picnic. Can do long beach walk. Quite far from city but worth it. Beach is flat so normal car can go. You can also stay there during night times. We have enjoyed the whole night camping gazing the stars in the sky. It was a beautiful experience in lifetime.

Very awesome beach for kite surfing. The sunsets never get old to view. You can park your car and enjoy the beach. The water is shallow so you can swim across the lagoon. The kite surfing is the reason I come to this beach. It is so shallow and wide and open for all sorts of watersports

Nice & Neat beach to have an overnight stay. The beach is a clean one, seems to be shallow water. But there is nothing literally, you have to bring all the stuff you needed. Please have the courtesy to clean when you leave the beach. There is no loose soil, sedan can reach this spot without any difficulty. Happy camping.

Best place for kite surfing and parasailing. This beach located near Dukhan road.this beach has black rock and the waves are slow and water is so clear.beautiful view and best part is you can see sunset in this beach. In this beach your pet also allowed.
