"Placencia’s best sit-down local restaurant is located smack in the heart of the village. Wendy's isa favorite with locals for itshearty breakfast—fried eggs with refried beans and tortillas—before work or beforeheading out on a sun-and-sea excursion. The restaurant is also a solid choice for lunch and dinner, and is reasonably priced for the wide variety of dishes it offers, like quesadillas, sandwiches, burgers, pastas, beans and rice, and seafood. The walls are covered with local art, andthe spacious veranda offers views of the comings and goings along the village’s main road. Wendy’s rarely closes and seldom disappoints, in food or in service."

Nice slow island vibes! If you are in a hurry grab something fast from a street vendor. It took about an hour to get our food, but it was worth the wait. Everything was freshly prepared. We had fresh soursop juice, whole blackened fish, fried fish filet which were all yummy. Would return and recommend.

Last night in Placencia and went out with a bang! Stopped into Wendy’s and it was a home run! Had a whole fish and steak. Both were cooked perfectly. All the food was delicious and the service was outstanding! Very nice seating areas both inside and outside. The bar looked nice, but I’m not a drinker, so didn’t get that experience. Definitely one of the better restaurants in Placencia. I highly recommend this spot if you’re in or near Placencia.

I truly wanted to enjoy this restaurant, but unfortunately our experience was deeply disappointing and uncomfortable. On Christmas evening, my family and I — a party of four — were seated in the outdoor area where the tables were still wet from the rain. We politely asked if we could be seated indoors. The waitress informed us that all indoor tables were reserved, despite there being at least three large tables completely empty inside. After she wiped our outdoor table, she did not return for nearly 15 minutes. During that time, we observed her actively attending to surrounding tables while we were left waiting without being offered drinks or appetizers. What was most concerning is that we later saw two guests being seated at one of the same indoor tables we had been told was “reserved.” This raised serious concerns for us, especially because they were seated at a table meant for six. When we asked for clarification, the waitress denied having told us the indoor seating was reserved, which further added to the frustration and confusion. My husband’s family is Belizean, and we have visited Placencia many times over the years. We have never experienced treatment like this at any other establishment in the area. Before leaving, we informed the attending supervisor of what occurred, yet no apology or acknowledgment was offered. Sadly, this is not the type of hospitality Placencia is known for. Based on our experience, we will not be returning and cannot recommend Wendy’s Creole Food.

Excellent fresh fish and Belizean classic dishes. Check the specials of the day or when in doubt get the jerk fish. Loved the coconut rice.

I see a lot of reviews for breakfast that seem to be good. We went for lunch and just didn't enjoy any dish we tried and left feeling heavy. The staff and atmosphere are nice.

I've been in Placencia now for three weeks and I've had dinner at Wendy's three times. Each meal was wonderful. The staff is friendly and competent and the food is delicious. Try the Creole fish and the Coconut Curry - so good! Especially with a cold Belikin or two!

Very tasteful and fresh food. Salad was crispy , meat well made and marinated, serving friendly. Inside there are some beautiful paintings.
