"Wally’s chef, David Féau, prepared a Thanksgiving to-go where everything is a la carte or a complete dinner. The restaurant can accommodate up to 18 guests with dishes like roast turkey, a truffle brie baguette, French onion soup, pumpkin gratin, turkey gravy, savory biscuits, and green beans. A la carte pricing varies while a whole turkey can run anywhere from $210 to $310. Orders can be picked up from Wally’s Beverly Hills or Santa Monica locations, and can be delivered within the Los Angeles area. Pick-ups are on Wednesday, November 26, or Thursday, November 27. Order on its website." - Eater Staff

"Movie Pairing:The First Wives Club (Netflix) “Don’t fact-check me on this, but I’m pretty sure there’s a law saying you can’t watch The First Wives Club without drinking your weight in wine in the process. So, make sure you secure a delivery from Wally’s. The Beverly Hills wine bar has one of the largest (and best) wine stocks in the city, plus solid snacks like flatbreads, truffle popcorn, and charcuterie boards to keep from getting too drunk. Not that Goldie, Bette, and Diane would judge you for it - I just want to make sure you make it to the end for the dance number.” - BC" - brant cox, kat hong, brett keating, james montgomery
"If there’s a serious wine person in your group, they’ll appreciate Wally’s. This wine store in Beverly Hills doubles as a restaurant with a menu of pizzas, pasta, and lots of cheese. The smaller Barrel Room seats 10, the private wine room seats up to 22, and the large reception tables seat up to 25." - sylvio martins
"This is my Cheers. I go there five times a week. Everybody knows my name. I discovered Wally's because I'm a big wine drinker and they just have the best wine selection. It's an award-winning wine list and it's curated by these buyers who can curate your home wine cave, and so that's what we usually do. We're like, 'Hey, we're a little low on French burgundies,' and they'll curate what they know my taste is. They will know the price range I wanna stay in. I love that they're just such experts, and that obviously spills over to spirits and beer and gourmet food. It's also a little shopping center. I get my specialty cheeses there and my jamon Iberico. The charcuterie boards they make are to die for so I'm constantly ordering those for parties. They have really great cocktails, too, like their espresso martini with reposado—when you order an espresso martini in a bar, you should always ask for tequila, not vodka." - brennan carley
"If a massive selection is what you’re after, Wally’s is your answer. The walls are lined with floor-to-ceiling bottles, like you’re in the bougiest Costco of all time, and the entire place is chilled to cellar temperature. They’ve got locations in both Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, each with thousands of bottles of the highest-rated wines in the world, and a section of 95+-scoring wines for under $100. Order online or delivery, or call (310) 475-3540 (Beverly Hills) or (424) 293-5500 (Santa Monica) for pick-up" - brett keating
