"Not only does Verde have one of the best views in Miami, but it’s casual enough to show up in shorts and a tank top. The restaurant is located in the back of the Pérez Art Museum and has a beautiful, uninterrupted view of Biscayne Bay. That’s really why you should come here (and why you shouldn’t sit inside), but the food—mostly salads, pizza, and sandwiches—is solid." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo
"Located on the first floor of Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), Verde is a modern, casual dining waterfront restaurant & bar and an urban retreat. We recommend dining outdoors (although not mid Summer). The patio is an even more gratifying experience, surrounded by hanging gardens, set amidst a contrast of expansive concrete and wood architecture by renown architects Herzog & de Meuron, offering spectacular views of Miami Beach and the Port of Miami. If you get lucky you may even spot a dolphin (or two)." - Lemon Yellow
"To us, Verde is just a perfectly fine museum restaurant with an excellent waterfront view. But to the limitless mind of a four-year-old, this place is an adventure land where you must climb up the stairs to escape the approaching pirate ships. It’s right next to the PAMM, which is free for kids six and under. Once they inevitably get sick of postmodern commentaries on late-stage capitalism, you can take them to the Frost Museum. It’s just across the street and they can touch sting rays." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer
"If we were judging Verde only by the food, we wouldn't tell you to sprint here. But this casual spot, which is located on the back patio of the Pérez Art Museum, has one of the best waterfront views in all of Miami: a beautiful, uninterrupted view of Biscayne Bay and the MacArthur Causeway. That is really why you should come here (and why you should never sit inside). The menu is mostly salads, pizza, and sandwiches—and you'll finish whatever you order. This is mostly a brunch or lunch spot, but on Thursdays they stay open for dinner (and occasionally have live music too)." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino
"Verde has one of those views that’ll make it hard to get up even after you’ve paid the bill. This casual restaurant in the back of the PAMM (a great museum, by the way) gives you an outstanding look at Biscayne Bay and the cruise ships docked at PortMiami. Lunch here feels like eating in the biggest, fanciest backyard in Miami. Though they stay open for dinner on Thursday, Verde is best for brunch or lunch, when you can eat pretty good pizzas, sandwiches, and salads while trying to guess how much each passing yacht costs." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo
