The burgers were juicy with really good flavours and generous sauce. We sat on the terrace on the street, and so pricing was a little higher. Service was simple, not warm and incredibly slow. Tables in general were left quite messy for a long time, even after we were told to sit down. Perhaps understaffed due to public holiday today. All the 7 tables wiped down were with a reused wet cloth and no sanitation spray. Menus were very sticky.

The negatives I encountered were numerous: Cold Burger Buns: The burger buns were served cold, which significantly impacted the overall taste and enjoyment of the meal. Cold and Flavorless Fries: The fries lacked any seasoning and were served cold, making them unappetizing. Odd Condiment Choice: To my surprise, they served mustard with the fries, which did not complement the dish at all. Unfriendly Staff: The restaurant's personnel were unfriendly and inattentive, making the dining experience uncomfortable. Avian Disturbance: I was disturbed to find birds flying around inside the greenhouse, adding an unwelcome distraction to the meal. Inflexible Payment Options: The restaurant did not offer the convenience of split payments, causing inconvenience for large groups. Lack of Vegetarian Options: As a vegetarian, I was disappointed to find no suitable dishes on the menu. Smoking During Work Hours: Perhaps the most unacceptable aspect was witnessing the staff smoking while on duty, which displayed a lack of professionalism. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant due to these significant issues. The management needs to address these concerns promptly to provide a more enjoyable dining experience for their customers.

Burger was not too big but enough for me who has a small appetite. There was a generous amount of fries but I got some the small, torn apart ones for some reason.

The service, especially inside, was slow and they were put off that you were even bothering them to eat and drink something. The hamburgers were good, but the bread needs to be toasted or it all falls apart and gets soggy. Fries were great. Can't complain about the price. Fix the attitudes inside especially the younger girl and toast the bread and you will get better reviews. Don't think they give a rats a$$.

They only replied in their mother language that in that case we need to leave cause this is not possible, we need to order big meals or go away. If that is the case we understood but you do not need to have a rude attitude about it. Checked reviews today after we visited this place and they quite well explain the behaviour. Maybe they want it that way, only locals because one of the quest even applauded and said congratz to us when the waiter told us we need to leave. Weird but ok😃 Pub on the next corner was a super nice, we really enjoyed. Check out other places in San Sebastian if you are a tourist - they were super friendly and nice. Only Va Bene place had an attitude. 💛☀☀
