Lovely place. Tasty coffee and treats and homely service. Asked for gluten free treat and was greeted by a friendly and accommodating barista who checked his allergen sheet to recommend two delicious treats I had the brownie and the matcha protein ball. Both lovely. He then made a tasty almond latte. Great ambience and good background music. Felt in a grumpy mood on arrival - will be leaving with a skip in my step. Thank you

Urban Baristas is like a home from home. Their coffee is of a consistently high standard, and all the staff are friendly and professional, yet relaxed. There's an easy atmosphere and a mix of people chatting, working, or just popping in for take out. The food options (sandwiches, cakes, pastries) are good, but there are minimal options for those with additional dietary needs. Very dog and child friendly, and wheelchair and pram accesible including the toilet. Highly recommended for great coffee, a place to spend time with friends or alone, and a chat with the Barristers.

We popped in on a rainy Sunday afternoon so some hot chocolate and cakes. It’s right by Wapping overground station. Cute space, about 8 tables inside and 6 outside. Hot chocolate was good. The coconut dusted sponge with raspberry jam was a bit sugary for me, but the lemon & sage loaf is perfection, highly recommended! Keep in mind they do not accept cash, only card payments.

I’ve been going to Urban Baristas for years and it’s such a great neighbourhood spot. The staff are always lovely and friendly, and make an effort to get to know the regulars. In particular, Natalie always does an awesome job in the kiosk come rain or shine, which makes all the difference to my morning work from home routine. Thanks all!

Nice and cozy coffee shop just by the station. Selling lots of cool merch and plenty of delicious looking sandwiches and pastries. Stopped for a flat white here. Very friendly service and they have a great loyalty card system and some delicious looking brunch menu with very reasonable prices. Worth stopping by here! My flat white was also very good quality and came in a beautiful cup. Experience overall was wonderful. Will stop by again!

I live closeby but never checked this place out until now. I came down twice and both times served by this beautiful lady Tanya? 😅 she was always very smiley and welcoming with a lot of descriptive knowledge on the drinks and the overall stuff are very helpful with the suggestions. There isn’t much selection of the food tho but even so, the quality is good. Will make sure to pop up quite often! 😊

I would like to express my appreciation for the customer service during my recent visit. The coffee staff was exceptionally friendly and contributed to a warm and inviting atmosphere in the café. However, I did observe a situation that could be addressed for the benefit of both staff and customers. There was a disagreement between a staff member and management that unfolded in front of patrons, which was a bit concerning. While I understand that disagreements can occur in any workplace, handling such matters privately would help maintain the positive environment that the staff works hard to create. I believe that fostering a respectful atmosphere can enhance the overall experience for everyone involved, and I commend the team for their dedication to customer satisfaction. This is a new cafe to open up near wapping overground station and it has become my new regular. It has great coffee, a yummy selection of baked good and friendly, helpful staff. It's a great spot if you need to do some work, the large windows mean it has fantastic natural light and they have free wifi. I highly recommended the vegan raspberry chocolate cake!

Cut little coffee shop in Wapping! Family friend took us here after getting in from America. The coffee is amazing. Not the burnt chain coffee. Everything was high quality and fairly priced. I had a cappuccino and a chai latte. Both were great. For a snack, I recommend the croissant! It's light and flaky! Will definitely go back before heading home!

I had a very good Espresso here but it doesn't get four or more stars because service is not particularly friendly and they were also out of Filter Coffee.

When these guys first opened you could almost hear the collective neighbourhood sigh and eye roll--we don't need another coffee shop--we have plenty of those! Cinnamon, Coffique, The Turk's Head (my fav)! We needed another coffee shop as much as we need another Italian restaurant or another pub, but their service, product and atmosphere has won me over!

Great coffee and service! Must visit coffee shop to avoid the chains all around Waterloo!
