The 29 Best Restaurants in Kingston, Jamaica | Eater
"Uncorked began as a simple bar, but it has come to lead the charge in shifting the island’s appreciation of wine and customers’ accessibility to it. At the same time, the initial menu of small snacks has morphed into a fully fledged restaurant, with impressive cheese and charcuterie platters, weekly specials, and innovative breakfast and brunch menus that feel both locally and internationally inspired. Still, this is first and foremost a wine bar, with one of the largest selections in Jamaica. A second Kingston location on Constant Spring Road brings great cheese, wine, and gourmet food to more neighborhood fans." - Leisha Wong
"In the heart of Barbican, Kingston’s favorite “uptown” neighborhood, Uncorked started as asmallwine and cheese shop but evolved into a sit-downwine bar with a menu that'spopularwith the city’s professional crowd. Pick one of the tapas-style starters like the bacon-stuffed dates, orgo all in and orderone of the famous-for-good-reason gourmet burgers—including the Scotchie and Skellie, which is spiced Jamaican-style. The salads, seafood, and meat entrées don't disappoint, either. All meals can be paired with the huge selection of imported wines, including vintages from Europe, Australia, and South Africa. It gets crowded at lunchtime, and tables are few, so come early to avoid a wait or stop in for evening cocktails and cheese and olive platters."
My sorority sisters and I visited this restaurant for lunch while staying in Mo Bay a few weeks ago as we visited from the US to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Our food was ok. Some enjoyed more than others. I ordered the salmon balls (not pictured), they were bland. I also ordered the Oxtail Gnocchi which was much better. The pasta was a little mushy but I was able to push through as the overall dish had a good taste and the oxtail was cooked to my liking. My drink was pretty good.
I do however feel I would’ve enjoined my meal more if I wasn’t nursing a sore wrist and knee while eating after toppling down two steps because of negligence of this establishment. We were a semi large group of 9 that was seated on an upper level. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice how close I was placed to the edge of the landing as I sat in the end seat as a trusting patron that never questioned the seating arrangement. It wasn’t until I attempted to get up to use the restroom by pushing my chair back did I meet my fate of toppling down two steps. I knocked over my glass of water on the way down, shattering it while my friends held the table to prevent it from falling on me. I left with a complimentary bag of ice for my sore wrist and a $78 (USD) bill as the manager, Chevel with no sign of remorse refused to comp my bill. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired, to say the least!

This was my second time visiting, it was a great experience as usual. The food is delicious and don't get me started on the drinks, they have an amazing and mind-blowingly vast selection of wines available. Dishes on their menu have a recommended wine to pair it with that helps to bring out even more flavor from the food and the wine itself. I would definitely recommend that you visit

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Uncorked! We went to celebrate my sister's graduation and though the space was a little too tight, we enjoyed the aesthetics. The environment was ambient, relaxed, and had a casual fine dining modern theme to it. The prices are moderate and the service is absolutely excellent! Our waitress attended to us with such grace, class, expertise, and professionalism! We didn't book a reservation but when we got there we easily got a table for four! From start to finish my experience was wonderful! The food was absolutely high class with so many different flavors coming out of our dishes! Overall, my experience was a really good one! Looking forward to going back!

So we have visited all three Uncorked. Our first visit was to the Uncorked West in Montego Bay as a treat after my daughter sat her Primary Exit Profile (PEP) exams. The service was amazing and our server was so lovely he congratulated my daughter and made the experience something to look forward to. I then found out that there were two other when I went to post my review about the service, so we decided to visit all three and placed them on the bucket list.
The next visit was Uncorked Too in Constance Spring this time the occasion was to celebrate my Daughter achievement in the Pep exams as She got top Girl and was in the top two in Jamaica for PEP. She was placed at the top school in Jamaica. this visit was ok we loved the food but service never matched up to the experience that we got at Uncorked West.
Yesterday we visited the Uncorked in Barbican and the service was cold it broke our hearts. This occasion was for My daughter topping her class. We told the server the occasion and I initiated that I wanted to get dessert but non was offered so we paid and left. I went inside to use the bathroom and the person cashing said to me miss in a tone to say why are you here you don’t like you can pay so I said I’m here to pay my bill use the bathroom and leave.
The only reason we wanted to try all of the branches was based on the first impression, now I can say first impression does not last all the time we are yet to be treated with the warned and love that was shown the very first time. The fact that I chose to celebrate all of my daughter’s major wins with your franchise should say a lot.

I loved the presentation of all the different foods i saw come out. I enjoyed the atmosphere , everyone was also dressed nice. The food tasted good not the best I've head but good enough for me to visit again to try other dishes. The place is pricey in my opinion. I spent 20k on the food in the pics (3 dishes), a bottle of coconut water, 4 shots of Appleton and a bottle of coke. The food was also very filling.

Surprisingly great food. Good selection of wine at a fair price. Servers could have been a bit better for the mandatory 20% they add to the bill...

I presume it's "reasonably" priced for the targeted demographic. Presentation is great, food is okay. My meal was a bit bland to say the least. I sampled other dishes and they were fine or a bit better. The place seems more for socialisation and I guess wine drinking and small plates than comfortable dining.
