This was our favourite in Lisbon. It’s relaxed and casual but with a great vibe, fantastic food, fabulous service and with the music to match. We really liked the concept of tasty snacks to start with and then continuing with dishes to share. Our favourites were the kohlrabi taco and the cracker with beef tartar. Cash only. Reservation is essential. Highly recommended

Tricky’s is a highlight of Lisbon. It has a laidback vibe with very friendly staff. We were fortunate enough to walk in and get a table close to the kitchen. Even the chef was chatting with us. The atmosphere is fun and chic without being pretentious. Everybody was lovely. The food is incredible. Small plates, lots of variety. They put a lot of passion into every dish. We had the beef tongue, the tuna, the beef tartare, the nori taco, and the grilled octopus. Everything was worth trying, all delicious and the best most tender grilled octopus I’ve ever had. We also had every dessert, all exceptional. If you only get to go to one restaurant in Lisbon I recommend it be Tricky’s

Excellent meal, the best restaurant we went to on our trip to Lisbon. The staff are very friendly, we sat at the chefs bar and the chefs shared stories about all the dishes, and shared how they make certain things which was a great experience. Each dish was a perfect mix of taste and texture, and each being very innovative and creative. Good value as well, would 100% recommend.

Booked the chefs table (no extra cost) and wow! Unbelievable evening of food bursting with flavour. Loved the personalised experience of having each dish explained by one of the excellent chefs who dived into the details behind the sensational food. Booking definitely required. I would highly recommend the chefs table if you can book. Slightly annoying that you can only pay with cash if from outside Portugal but alas.

Best meal we have had for a while! An incredible selection of small places and amazing wines. The service was amazing, for every plate we received the chef came to the table to explain it to you and they were incredibly knowledgeable. Can’t fault any of the dishes and would definitely recommend the sour beer!

Food was incredible - can’t recommend it enough! Insane quality food for a fraction of the price - you can really tell the chefs care about the quality of the food and flavours. Loved the tuna, carrot and octopus! Just go!!
