Trattoria alla Rampa

Absolute vibes all round and 5 stars for this place. We came after a long day for lunch just before they closed. Staff were super kind and attentive - we ordered the plate of the day which was a roast chicken with vegetables. It was so, so good. Chicken was juicy, vegetables were delicious - everything was oozing with flavour. Just what we wanted and so nice to have something a little different to why we’d been eating a lot of in Venice/Italy. This place is top notch - highly recommend for lunch.

What a fantastic find, in Venice of all places. The bartender (owner?) was so welcoming even tough we were tourists. Poured us a spritz while we waited for a table (we had no reservations). Food was definitely not touristy (there were many locals and tradespeople eating here) and very tasty and reasonably priced. As we paid our bill, we asked the bartender for a second round of caffe corettos and he would not even accept payment for it -- just fabulous service (and amazing caffe coretto :-)

Awesome place. We had a great meal. We visited as a party of 4 including 2 vegetarians. All were catered for. This place is packed with atmosphere and the staff work extremely hard at keeping everyone happy.

Really deeply very super good Squid ink spaghetti and also venetian spaghetti! I'll come back again if I have a chance. Bro hours service, friendly and clean. Really recommended!!!

Great place to have the 'workers' lunch meal! €25 for my starter and main, and €30 for my parter who had fish set menu. Unfortunately I'm allergic to shellfish, the waitress was kind enough to change my order to vegetarian pasta starter and chicken main dish which was delicious! We were given two bread baskets and we had 2 ice cold sparkling water bottles, small jug of wine each (250ml) and espresso coffee with biscotti at the end and my partner was also given grappa! All for €55 euros total! Amazing! Lot less touristy and busy. Do check lunch time hours to go, but a great little restaurant to eat at. The staff were so wonderful and accommodating, I highly recommend this place. Thanks for having us! :)

It was a little local restaurant with crowded of local people, and the food was just simply amazing. We shared Tagliatelle al Ragù, Polenta e baccalà and the taste was really very wonderful. Fresh bread provided. Dessert and coffee is also good. The dishes and the setting are rustic but very well-made. It was nice to find a not touristy place, if you are visiting this part of Venice, this trattoria is worth a try. Popular to locals, home style cooked food.

Best meal in Venice, great atmosphere, super location. Very genuin and throughly recommend it, we will be back. Xx

Tasty home cooking, promptly served. Excellent seafood specialities, also good for kids. Tasty expresso. Patronised by locals says it all.
