Tommi's Burger Joint

This is an excellent neighborhood Burger/ sandwich place. The food is great. The service is prompt, friendly and polite. The atmosphere is calm and it looks like a diner. They play old Rock and Roll music from the 1960s. It is a fun place to visit and get a good meal. We are tourists from the US and we liked it so much we came back another day for another dinner.

2024-March. Party of 7, Thursday @ 7:35 PM. There were parking spaces at the front but only a couple were open. There was no line at the counter and we seated ourselves. The ambiance is ok.. tea lights in the ceiling and the background music is low enough to be able to have a good conversation. The facility is clean. 2 restroom stalls at the back. We ordered at the counter and our order came out in a few minutes. Our chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, and coffee shakes were soooo good 😋 The burgers are delicious as well! So far, these are the best burgers we have consumed here in Iceland since we got here.. Give it a try if you're missing some good-tasting burgers, fries, and shakes! Bon Appétit 😋! Great place, amazing burger! I ordered the classic meal, which had a custom sauce I’ve never tasted that was amazing. The only thing I might say to give some critique is the price, but it really isn’t that bad. Worth it!

Tommi's is a bit of an institution in Reykjavik, well worth looking at the history. There are plenty of locations to choose from all doing a simple menu that still has a good variety of burgers. We went for the steak burger, fries and sweet potato fries. All the food tasted amazing and there is a large section of toppings and sauces you can help yourself to so it becomes your burger. Highly recommended.

Place feels awesome, half American half Icelandic atmosphere made me feel cosy. I was here two times, both times ordered two different burgers and each time i was astonished at the flavours mix in the burhers. Food is amazing. Service is also very great well deserved 5*

Delicious burgers! No complaints! The front desk staff were very polite and friendly. We both tried the Classic burger (120g, $14 alone) and split the fries/drink (combo was ~$20CAD) we also tried the vanilla milkshake, it was also great--somehow, not too sweet! Quick service, decent prices for how expensive Iceland is.

Yeah! What a burger, fries and shake. Loved it. The best part is they ask you if you want it medium or well done - just wow. A medium juicy patty in a burger joint - I may have to move here. Of course I had the double burger - burp - I'm full.
