The Warbler is a chic Lincoln Square diner serving New American and veggie-focused dishes alongside colorful cocktails and a captivating patio scene.
"The Warbler is the next brainchild from the owners of Gather, located right next door. The design of the place is awesome—both the interior and branding—and both were done by a husband and wife team. Their cocktails are excellent and all are $11 each. You can't go wrong with the Bird's Nest. If you're looking for a starter, the cauliflower is awesome. Oh and the bacon & egg flatbread is one of the best things on the menu. The cedar roasted salmon and roasted half chicken are also excellent. Just make sure you leave room for dessert. They have a skillet cookie! What's that you ask? It's an oven-baked cookie in a hot skillet with vanilla ice cream on top. It's ooey and gooey, just how belly likes it." - Knoed Creative
"This charming bird-themed dining and drinking spot from the team behind Gather has carved out a niche with its greenery-laden outdoor patio in Lincoln Square. There’s a variety of seating options to choose from, including stools along a permanent cement bar where customers can find colorful cocktails and a thoughtful vegetarian-friendly menu." - Naomi Waxman, Eater Staff
"This restaurant is from the same people who own Gather, and like its sister restaurant, it serves New American food. You’ll find vegetable dishes (like ponzu glazed crispy cauliflower florets), housemade pastas (their whole wheat cacio e pepe in particular is worth ordering), and traditional entrees like grilled salmon and a cheeseburger. They have a large bar area that’s good for grabbing some appetizers and a glass of wine with friends, too." - josh barnett, sam faye, adrian kane, john ringor
"Someone told us a long time ago that vegetables were good for us, and it turns out they were telling the truth. Well, you’ll find plenty of them at The Warbler in Lincoln Square - in dishes like ponzu-glazed cauliflower, grain bowls, and a variety of salads. But this place also has a fantastic cheeseburger, and a skillet cookie that reminds us why skillet cookies exist in the first place. It gets pretty crowded in here, but there’s a large bar area where you can sit eat, too, whether you’re solo or with a group." - adrian kane
