The Jetty

Upon arrival, the front-of-house staff member seemed disinterested, offering no greeting or conversation, and simply directing us to our table. The wine list was overpriced, with the cheapest Chablis priced at £140. While I understand corkage and service charges, this particular wine retails for significantly less. The menu's descriptions were promising, but the dishes themselves were underwhelming and lacked flavor. The tempura batter was greasy and more reminiscent of chip shop batter, and the food overall was under-seasoned. The halibut main course was disappointingly small. Overall, my experience at The Jetty was overpriced and underwhelming.

Really wonderful food, a treat, a destination with comfort, class, lounge, huge selection of drinks with a lovely long bar. All tastefully decorated for Xmas. Was so busy having fun that didn’t take too many pictures of the food. Thoroughly recommend oysters, Lobster Thermidor & Hake. Service spot on.

Great meal with great service from Tom. We started with the oysters and then proceeded to try everything we could. The souffle are phenomenal, the catch of the day, a sea bass, was delicious. The chateaubriand cooked perfectly, but in the UK they don't season it, so if your from the states before to ask for extra extra season or some sea salt from kitchen. One of best restaurants in a hotel we had during our travels and a big thank you to Tom who really took care of us, Would visit again!

The staff appeared understandably under pressure due to the busy evening, yet they maintained a high level of professionalism throughout. A particular mention goes to the young, dark haired lady who assisted us was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient as my wife and I inquired about various dishes. Her attentiveness made a great impression. The view of the marina is absolutely stunning, adding to the overall charm of the experience. The dishes we ordered were hot, fresh, and delicious, although they took some time to arrive. However, given the bustling atmosphere, we found this understandable. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food and service made it well worth it.

Lovely staff, high end without being stuffy in any way. Great food with decent portions that ensure you will not want to top up in an hour or so.

1. Seafood Heaven ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Came here last night and the catch of the day was unreal! Had the sea bass and it was cooked perfectly, crispy skin, soft inside, just how it should be. My partner had the steak which he also loved. Staff were really friendly, made us feel welcome. Good wine list too, which is always a bonus. Will defo be back!

Superb as per usual. Our first time on the lunch menu and it was fantastic for the price! Hana is just the best waitress. We often just come for drinks of an evening we love it so much here.

After checking in we stopped in for a drink and quick snack. Very nice harbour view. The chicken nuggets were so spicy that I had to ask for some type of sauce to tone them down. There were about 8 very small nuggets in a cup size container. My companion ordered a pasta and it never was delivered to the table BUT was on the bill. I recommend going someplace other than the Jetty. Mandatory service should only be rewarded for good service.

Oh yes, a trendy and upscale restaurant located in the Harbor hotel with beautiful views of the bay and expensive yachts. The bar makes delicious and sophisticated drinks, the food is fresh, divine with wonderful presentation. It is expensive but The Who is who in Southampton dines at this place.the parking lot looks like a dealership of brand new, lates model of Jaguars, BMW, Mercedes and other high end cars. If you have the money I am highly recommending this place for a romantic dinner or just great food, views and atmosphere.

Excellent seafood. Enjoyed it so much for lunch returned a few nights later for dinner. Over the two meals enjoyed two starters, vegetable tempura (beautifully presented) and sashimi (a robust portion). I also loved the fresh plaice on their list of specials on my first visit, included a great butter sauce. I did not enjoy the skate as much on my second trip, but I think that is the nature of the fish. Overall, a great option for fresh seafood.
