"Don't be fooled by the Persian carpets, the roaring fireplace, or the woody interiors—this spot functions more like a night club than a sleepy hotel bar. There's a DJ and you can expect dancing (on the couches), a bit of a line at the bar, and a wait at the entrance (with bouncers). It's worth it for the drinks, the music, and the scene. "

The bar/club used to be one of my favorite places to go (2014-2017) but then the bouncers started get REALLY selective, lines started getting stupid long. So I eventually stopped going. But I love the vibe, interior space, and the music is always great. I've had a lot of good times here in the past but not anymore.

My group was arbitrarily turned away after waiting on line for 30 minutes (and yes, it was actually unjustified). If we’re being real here, based on other groups who were turned away it was likely racist. If you’re white and enjoy standing on line, this is the place for you!

Unique, super atmospheric space, reads as the real deal rather than something an interior designer carefully curated to come across as "faded grandeur chic". Saw a small music show here, was a perfect space for ~100 people.
