"The Blue Cup coffee shop opened its doors a year ago in Kyiv, Pushkinska str., 5 and immediately became a must-visit place. In 2015 it doubled in size and is now part of project **“Zhuli-buli”**. A collaboration of famous Ukrainian architect Yova Yager and Kiev-based artist Nastya Ptichek. The fresh interior is part of Yova Yager and Nastya Ptichek launched a project “Zhuli-Buli” (translated as “once upon a time”) portraying wild nature of Ukraine as it is, without violence and cruelty, viewed as fairytales. The characters live on wallpapers, chairs and cushions, attracting the visitors’ attention not only to their original appearance, but also to reasons that leading to the extinction of these particular fauna and flora species. For instance, bisons are depicted with a pipe, a part of which is made of its horn; a lynx is wearing a hat with a fur pompom and so on. Moreover, The Blue Cup coffee shop has got a variety of books, tasty coffee with dessert and vinyl collection, welcoming its visitors with unique atmosphere." - Aimbulance

Great coffee, cozy atmosphere and amazing desserts - I’m going there for years now for Pavlova dessert, it’s just the best I ever tried. Service is very friendly, always, and the most amazing thing this place exist pretty long time and still keeps the spirit.

So amazing. I was only staying in the center of Kiev for two days. I found this place because it was the only cafe on Google Maps near my place. I went the first morning in town. Loved it so much that I had to go back. I had the eggs Benedict, oatmeal with fruit and delicious special flavored lattes. They also have plant based and lactose free milks.

All the fame surrounding this place is for a reason. Great interior, great service and one of the better coffee I had in my life. Really, you should go for filtered one. A little fruit'ish taste makes it such a good coffee. The cakes are a treat but the ones we've had were just good

Nice and cozy place right on the city center! Perfect for a quick lunch or a coffee meeting with pastries 🥮 ✅They serve breakfast all day Food tastes very satisfying:) Love the quinoa bowl 🍲 • toast with poached egg, salmon and avocado 💔 • salmon omelette is mouthwatering and filling They gave a wide range of coffee and nice homemade teas! The service could be better 🙈 They forget about us and sometimes make mistakes 😜 . One thing I don’t like is lack of the air inside. It’s hard to breathe for me :( Hope you cam fix it with AC and air supply Keep up good work:)

Amazing! Breakfast food all day long. Prices are ok. They have ton of unusual choices. I tried buckwheat with coconut milk, it was delightful. I can highly recommend cheesecake

Good looking, beautiful food, especially breakfast. Very good coffee, they have milk without lactose. I think there's problem in the kitchen, because we have to wait for our food more than 1 hour. We were 4, first food came, another after 15-20minutes, then third after ~10 and so one. So in the end if you want to eat with your friend, first who got food will eat cold with friend or alone.

Lovely place, in the city center. I liked the way staff treated people, they take your order and you don’t have to think about it. Coffee was good! Mad Heads ask way on top! Thank you ☺️

We were in Kiev for three days and lived 100 m from this place. At first, we just tried coffee and then returned to blue cup the other two to try breakfast. And it was unbelievable! The best pancakes I’ve ever eaten! Food, coffee, service, prices- everything is in well-balanced here. I will definitely come again when I’m in Kiev. Thank you!
