"The Bite, Downtown Rivermarket. If you ask them they are a sandwich shop. If you ask me they are a place to give your taste buds a rebirth. They have conjured up some of the most unique and delicious mix of asian and Mexican inspired goods you can have in the market. Tell them Señor Chang sent you oh and don’t forget the Patatas Bravas."

The bite is a place the turned into one of my favorites when I first moved to KC about 5 years ago. Then we tried a few items and loved them all. You really cannot go wrong with any item on the menu. My favorite by far is the Patatas Bravas. For $4 if you like kimchi it will blow your mind. Another of my favorites is the bay of pigs sandwich. Always great customer service, food comes out fast and fresh even of they are super busy.

Glad they are open for pickup and delivery! The “family meal” mushroom taco tray and patatas bravas are so packed with flavor. Awesome to have this vegetarian fusion option.

The Brussels sprouts will be what I remember about this place. Stopped in after finding them listed on Happy Cow for vegan foot in Kansas City. They have one vegan sandwich on the menu the menu and it’s kind of like a bbq bahn mi. The sesame slaw was also really great.

My friend said it was the best sandwich he's had in a long time. I loved the presentation and the flavor. I think it's a little small for the price, but overall pretty good experience.

Amazing sandwiches! We had The Toadstool, the Sloppy & the Bay of Pigs, with a side of Brussel Sprouts. Excellent! The flavors were unique & the bread was outstanding! If I wasn't full I'd go back for more. Friendly staff!

3.5 if Google would allow it. First, let me say this is an excellent addition to the City Market food area. There is a lot of culinary diversity in City Market, and I, for one, am glad to see the right old chicken 🐣 place come along. At first glance, All About Chicken is a tiny, clean "is what it is" chicken restaurant. The same two gentlemen always seem to be working the counter so they might be owners or maybe relatives of the owners. They are friendly enough, I guess, for their ages. The food is made to order, which I am a massive fan of. You can always taste fresh in my eyes. The chicken fingers and nuggets we're both excellent. The french fries were bag fries but still not bad. I think they should try hand-cut ones to step it up some. There were only a few issues that we had with the establishment. 1) There needs to be more variety of dipping sauces. Some of the best chicken places in the metro make their own, so they should try that out. 2) The staff seemed not to engage much, and that to me for a small Mom & Pop place is not the best idea. Especially in high traffic areas like City Market. 3) The tables were made of wood. That on the surfaces does not seem back, but wood hold "nasty." You can properly clean a surface like open pour wood (easy fix for them). 4) My most significant issue today, when I visited, was their sign out front. The restaurant serves chicken and waffles. Much like any metro chicken place would. However, under mentioning that they had chicken and waffles, it said, and I quote. "F**@ The Waffler" The Waffler is amount on my personal favorite original food trucks in KCMO. I get the banter among established chains, but good lord, too much. Even if I did not like The Waffler, I had to hear my 6-year-old son ask me what the "F" stood for. Keep in mind, guys, that area is a HUGE family meca. I enjoyed my food, though.

I went here for vegan pop up and automosphere is very chill and open. If I could have vegan like this crunch wrap and stew with such vibrant flavors I could be a vegan most of time.
