Sad to see a record shop closing but as an ardent music fan who frequents many such shops round Melbourne / the world; I’m not surprised by their closure. The woman / ?owner was unpleasant, patronising and arrogant so sadly avoided this shop. Shame on one level but maybe a lesson to be learned in being kind, humble and supportive to your customers.

It’s vintage vinyl records and discs store in the heart of Melbourne CBD. They also do vintage cloths and costumes as well as in store performances and galleries. Great place to spend an hour if you are into these stuff. Highly recommended if you are in Melbourne CBD for a walk.

Excellent CBD Vinyl store with vintage vinyls by well known artists,remastered versions and originals combined.Also has retro fashions clothes and accessories.

A wide range of cds focusing on current releases and re-releases. Excellent range in stock of Australian rock from 60s onward. Great to see the Aztec re-releases from the glory days of Australian Rock, available at reasonable prices. A thoughtful memorial to the late Tony Joe White was wonderful to see. Must admit, the in-house music did get a bit loud for this shopper.

I dug it! Tons of retro items and original vinyl. It’s in a bit of a basement, but not too bad. Thus the name. If you love the oldies and retro is your thing, this place is for you! They also buy records if you are wanting to get rid of your collection🤙🏻
