Yelp
Tea One Bakery & Cafe is a newly opened Hong Kong-style cafe located in Mississauga, currently in the soft-opening phase. Upon entering, the owner warmly greeted us and asked if we preferred dining in or take-out. The decor and interior were cute and cozy, making dining in the obvious choice.
The menu offered a vast array of options, including coffees, bubble teas, Italian sodas, croffles, fluffy pancakes, macarons, and cake rolls. It's worth noting that they do not have their full menu yet, which is quite impressive given the number of options already available. You can tell the owner takes pride in the quality of his products, as he even chooses not to serve mango drinks because they are not in season.
We tried the HK milk tea, an ice latte, an earl grey cake roll, and a strawberry croffle. Everything was delicious, with the HK milk tea being steeped to perfection and having just the right depth of flavor. The croffle was a delightful contrast of hot and cold, with the ice cream blending beautifully with the crispy texture of the croffle. The earl grey cake roll was infused with the flavor of the tea and had a perfect cream to cake ratio, with a delightful cold aspect to it.
The owner also generously offered us two macarons on the house, one chocolate and one yuzu flavored. While they were good, they could improve on the textural aspect of the macaron as they were lacking the traditional macaron "feet."
Currently, only e-transfers or cash are accepted as their POS system is not yet set up. However, the overall experience was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for studying or catching up with friends. With great vibes, food, and drinks, we would definitely love to visit again.
