An awesome place to dine in or eat outside. I seen some negative reviews, however I had a positive experience! I asked for my steak to be medium well, and it was delicious. It was juicy and savory. In a certain area, a group of people were performing which was nice. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and would come back.

Came here for a lunch to hopefully catch a football game (Texas vs Michigan). Good food and service was attentive. The chicken friend steak with white gravy was surprisingly good. The steak was very hot. Most places the inside gets cold too quickly but this one was good. Got the large portion and would be good for 2 people. Chopped beef was meaty. The armadillo balls were good but probably won’t get again. The homemade ranch was tasty Plenty of parking and got seated quickly.

Served on the side, their Barbecue Sauce is thick sticky and velvety in texture, with bright tangy sour sweet savoury spice flavour. . The Dill Pickles & White Onions accompany the meal. The crunchy dill pickles lend a burst of vegetal sour bitter sweet flavour, while the crisp white onions carry a vegetal earthy sweet sour flavour. Refreshing, helps to alleviate the palate as you work through the barbecue. . Enjoyed the Coleslaw (USD $2.99), so refreshing as it was served chilled. Has a crunchy crisp texture with vegetal sweet sour milky flavour, nicely light on the palate. . The Onion Rings (USD $3.99) were addictively tasty. Thinly sliced, the Texas onions are enveloped in a super crispy batter, shattering with a gentle crunch to release mild vegetal earthy sweet salty savoury flavour. Couldn't stop. . The large slice of Pecan Pie (USD $5.99) was so decadent. The thick and chunky pie has firm crunchy crumbly texture, with warm nutty earthy sweet floral flavour. Topped with thick lashings of caramel sauce and a scoop of creamy smooth vanilla ice cream, which balanced the warm pie with cool floral earthy candied sweet flavour.

Great food and great portions. I loved that the chicken fried steak had a nice flavor to it and not bland. We are picky eaters so we ordered the chicken strips and chicken fried steak. I recommend both! I had gotten double fries bc once again I'm picky lol.

Ok place, portions were good and flavor was ok. The mozzarella sticks were the best l had in a while.

Always enjoy eating here , never disappointed food is always consistent. Great atmosphere, and the service is always welcoming.

I know everyone raves about this place and it’s been on tv but I just think it’s gross. We ate here once about 10 years ago after it was on DDD, we brought my FIL for his birthday, and our food was bland to mediocre at best and our server the rudest person I’d ever encountered. Last week my friend asked to stop here on our way somewhere so I agreed to try it again. My opinions are still the same. We got the smoked sausage appetizer they make in house and we couldn’t eat it, I brought it home and fed it to my dog. The sausage had a great smoke flavor but has hard gristle, bone, or cartilage bits in it and we kept biting into them and that is so unpleasant so we gave up. The sauce the sausage was served with was good through. We both ordered gumbo and it wasn’t anything special, it had that bone sausage in it and I picked it out after getting something hard again on my send bite. The gumbo had fried okra on top of it and that’s just weird, the batter soaked up the gumbo broth and got soggy and added this fried taste to the gumbo. They don’t serve any garlic bread with their gumbo, only crackers. I ordered a side of the fried potatoes my friend raved about and they were just very oily greasy bland home fries, nothing worth eating. I gave her most of them since she likes them. The restaurant inside is just an old roadside restaurant, kind of unpleasant. Our server this time was very nice but disappeared for a long time when we were ready for our check and to go container for the sausage my dog was excited to get.

T-Bone Tom's has been in business for 50 years this year, and I can see why. The food is delicious, in large portions, and not overpriced. You get your money's worth. The fried mushrooms, they are whole button mushrooms and not sliced, which I love-love. Their fried zucchini was terrific, and the zucchini was fresh and sweet. Huge portions! Shark eggs were yummy, too; mixed seafood stuffed in jalapeños, then battered and fried. I got two orders of these. I got the chopped beef baked potatoes; oh, it was delish; the potato was fluffy, and the chopped beef was tender and rich with flavor. We got five entrees and four appetizers and spent $130-ish before tips. Great food, excellent price, and good service. I'm pleased with the overall experience. The atmosphere, what can I say? It's 50 yrs, and it has the OG feel and look. It's nostalgic for any long-time customers. Will return for the 3rd time. The weekend is always packed with guests. Either go early or go late on Sunday.

Food was great and atmosphere was nice. Staff was attentive and friendly. No complaints at all.

5 stars for the food, 5 stars for Blake who was working his very first shift for the very first time at T Bones. He was 1,000 x better than the "seasoned" waiter (I'll leave his name out) that he was shadowing. 0 stars for him, he didn't describe the food or desserts at all, didn't bother to tell us about happy hour, I overheard the waitress at the table next to us describing the happy hour options & describing the desserts to her table, our waiter did none of that. Good job Blake. You already outshine the guy they have you following. We will definitely request your section next time.

We went to T-Bone Tom's for Happy Hour which had great prices on their wine and beer. We had fried pickles for our appetizer, and they were perfectly fried. I had the shrimp cocktail that had a large portion of bay shrimp. I would have preferred three or four large shrimp instead. My hubby had a brisket taco and a fish taco--both had a lot of meat and fish. He said they were both excellent. The ambiance is Texas casual and well done. The service was prompt and pleasant. We will be back.

The vibes in this place were great this was my second coming with my boyfriend he loves this place ! The food was fresh and tasty . The staff is awesome our server Brian was very sweet and a goofball ((:!

Love this spot! Been over 20 years since I was here last and the place has expanded for sure! Still great service and great food! Now has outdoor entertainment as well.

Very good. The ribeye is better than the T-bone, which was still delicious. The desserts were amazing. The service was top notch. The decor was very interesting and you could eat inside or out! Very cool!

We love going to T-bone Toms when there is a good band there. Recently went with a group of 10 to see Texas City Revelators. called a few days ahead and got a table front row center. we all had dinner and drinks. Service was great. Food is always good. The music always starts early, like 5 or 6. so we can have a great night out and still be home by 9.

Had a ribeye here with a baked potato and salad. $50 Had food poisoning 3 hours later. Steak was too expensive for what It was service was mediocre and to top it off, food poisoning.

10/10 hamburger steak 7/10 Chicken and sausage gumbo Last time I was out here I had the hamburger steak and it was really good. I ordered it again today and it was almost better this time around. The hamburger patty had more char and enhanced the flavor. The Louisiana Purchase appetizer was good but I have had better gumbo. There was a lot of chicken and sausage. The broth lacked some seasoning but when I'm feeling sick, I would love to have this specific gumbo because it's a light flavored broth. We also got our usual order of armadillo eggs and over the years they have been getting smaller in size. I would say when we first came out 10 years ago, they were as big as a pear. Now they are getting closer to the size of real chicken eggs! Needless to say, they are still the best armadillo eggs. Honestly, I've been all across the country and no one makes jalapeño wrapped brisket balls!

Had a great time T-bone Toms tonight. It was definitely patio weather today. The service was great and the food was pretty great too. We will definitely try it again.

You can't go wrong with T-Bone Tom's if visiting the Kemah area! Have been here many times over the years and the services and food are consistently excellent. They have a large outdoor area for seating with cabana roofing to enjoy live bands almost any giving night. Great food and drink specials everyday of the week. I highly recommend the Armadillo eggs as an appetizer and have not had an entree here that I didn't enjoy.

Last night was a little surprising. As a local business owner, I have been taking clients, customers, and church members for the past 11 years on a weekly basis. Some or all of us routinely take our dogs to the back patio. It's become a routine. For some reason tonight a guy named Reagan (who claimed to be the son of the owners) said there were no dogs allowed and we must leave immediately. We had already been served drinks and horderves but were not allowed to finish them. The "manager" threatened to call the police if we did not leave immediately. No problem. There are plenty of places to spend our money. The curious part is that they are listed as "dog friendly" on Google and we've been going for 11 years. We left a generous tip for our waitress. Not her fault.

this is just a warning to not get their bbq potato at 14.99 called the skipper it's the size of a small potato or a side potato not a big papa main course potato the manager agreed it was small and I told him I gave my husband half my burger because he didn't have enough food and he did nothing at all just walked away! Everything else we ordered was great

Must come to this place when you are in Kemah, TX! The outdoor patio is very nice with fans and a country band playing. We had a blast. Cocktails are nice and server is friendly. Very good quality steak at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend. Skip all the restaurants on Main and boardwalk. Just come to Tom's!

Everyone said this place was excellent. But we didn't like it. Service was slow my husband's food came out and I had to wait about another five minutes For mine. Food was poor to say the less.

Get ready for some great food! Tried a couple of different items, can't go wrong with some great BBQ! Great beee menu, cool ambiance and great food, definitely a spot to check out when in the area

I've been wanting try T-Bone Tom's for a while, especially since seeing them on Triple-Ds; and they did not disappoint. Not only did we get to have a meal with some of my favorite space peeps, but we were entertained with live music and served great food too. The place is totally chill and relaxed, and the staff was 1000% on par to fine dining establishments. We ordered the brisket, which was super tender and flavored to perfection. And the side dishes were superb. Everything we ate was awesome. Yum!

The food was delicious. I enjoyed the chicken fried chicken. The brown gravy was very good. I really enjoyed the grilled tomato's. They would have been super tasty on a sandwich. Hush puppies were awesome. Pork ribs with chipotle sauce was nice. Potato salad was not sweet, very homey. Our server was very nice and quick. It seemed that they were doing a whole building by himself so he was trying to be quick but it was just busy.

We chose to eat outside because, even though its still pretty hot at 7pm, and flies are always an issue, we decided it was too busy inside and there was some live music going on plus they had a lot of fans going and the Astros game on. Service was good, waitress seemed super tired, but she was pushing through and made sure to check on us often, so I can't complain. It was prime rib night, so hubby got that, and I ordered shrimp salad and tortilla soup. Food was brought quickly and quality was good.

T bone Tom's is delicious. You can tell by the parking lot. Get the bbq jalapeños. Service is always good with a casual ambiance.

First time at T-bones... classic diner / steak house The food was enjoyable enough... didn't get to try their prime rib (came too late), but the chef hooked it up, and I got the rib eye instead. I'm sadden that my steak ended up a lil more medium than I wanted, and my waitress could tell it was a lil over cooked... but I'm not gonna Karen about it. The sides were simply prepared, no bells or whistles. In my opinion the prices were a lil high for what ur getting... but the service and friendly hospitality! That more than makes up for it. Enjoyed my time there greatly and wouldn't mind going back for seconds....

It was a great experience! Our server Ciera was so sweet and accommodating. The atmosphere was so enjoyable, loved the live music. Lastly, the food was amazing! Will definitely be visiting again the next time we are in town!!

If you're ever in Kemah, which I hope you are, this is the place to be. Good service good atmosphere and good food. I've tried everything here and at all times of the year. It's actually a pretty big restaurant so don't wait in line. You can always ask to sit at the bar.

The owners son, Reagan or whatever his name is.... Yikes That's all I'm gonna say. Not meant to be a manager. Just because he's the owner's son doesn't mean he's got what it takes to be in the position he's in. Constantly micromanaging servers and everyone else, riddled with anxiety and stress it's cringy to watch him "work".

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner last night of the two meat bbq. Wonderful sauce comes with it. The service is as always great especially by Zack. The ambiance is casual and they stay very busy always. We were greeted, seated and taken care of immediately. An older gentleman came out to check on us and asked how everything was. This is nice especially in this day and age when everyone feels entitled. Will definitely come back and I do recommend coming here. Everything is delicious, I just don't care for the adult drinks here. Too weak for the price. Sweet tea is wonderful and they have specials every day as well as live music playing on some days.

Great food better service the armadillo eggs are a must try. Steak was cooked pperfectly.

This is our 2nd vacation to the Houston Bay Area & T Bone Tom's was probably 60% of the reason we came back. The photos attached were from the 3 visits during this trip .. yes, it's so good, we ate here 3 times in one vacation. The people are nice, service is excellent, food is off the charts, & it's not even that expensive.

This place has been around 50 years. The chicken fried steak is great, and the mashed potatoes & freen beans and spinach are also flavorful. They have a big tiki bar outside that has live music. There are fans blowing during the hot months. We were visiting from out of town but it's a place we would go back to for sure. A very casual diner type place. They have a nice variety of food. The servers are friendly.

The place was great, service was okay. The food was good. The only complaints we had were the gumbo, and Mac & Cheese. My mother had the gumbo which was a bit too salty for her, and the Mac & Cheese tasted like it came straight out the Kraft box which was kinda disappointing. Other than that, we loved NASA space vibes. It was nice.

Love coming here to watch some good live music!! But wow!! Came in at 830 (close at 11) and was treated like we came in 10 min before they closed! Rushed through our night cap drinks, irritating because we were celebrating being off work!! And finally having a date night!! Very very disappointed!! What happened to the treating people great no matter the time of night they come in at?? Service industry is going to crap!!!

Someone told me to come here, and order Tom's campfire. For $12, it's a fantastic deal! I was really trying to discipline myself did not order another one They have raw horseradish! Order the Tom's choice, which was featured on diners, drive-ins, and dives! 14 ounce marinated ribeye!!! I went ahead and place a second order for this to go so I can have it for dinner. I used Worchester sauce and horse radish - - -DIVINE! Went for lunch as I try to go a few days prior for dinner... The place was packed solid They offer indoor and various outdoor seating, one with a bar.

T-Bone Tom's has never disappointed us. Food and service are always excellent. Pleasant family atmosphere inside restaurant and live music outside is great for an adult's night out.

We had six people only one had good food Chicken fried steak skimpy on gravy and batter no seasoning. Onion rings nasty. Granddaughter got kids ribs and one bite and ask for something else didn't like taste. The brisket and ribs plate brisket cut to thin no flavor the ribs to salty no smoke.

What a hidden gem. The husband loves T-Bone Tom's steaks and has been wanting to go back, but we don't live in Kemah LOL Food was legit; service was prompt and great! I love and miss their Mac n cheese and potato salad. Next time we go to the boardwalk, definitely will stop by.

love...Love...LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We live in Houston, but every summer come down to League City, Kemah, TX, etc and make sure not to miss this spot! Although I love Asian food and they have a dish or two, we come for the grilled, smoked, and blackened delights! Barbecue is typically our thing: delicious sausage, brisket, ribs, chicken, turkey breast, seafood, sandwiches, salads, and a great variety of southern sides! Very casual, trendy, touristy spot-recognized on "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives", with an eclectic decor of personalized chair dedications (see photos), framed t-shirts and family photos, and grandma's hanging plants. Bunches of tables with happy, talkative families- kinda makes you feel at home! And the service fits that bill as well-warm, cheerful, and friendly! ANDREW!!!! This friendly, non-stop server DID NOT MISS A BEAT! Bringing us all sorts of things, no matter how busy he was - and he had LOTS OF TABLES! We ordered the: blackened catfish, and the smoked turkey breast plates with the following sides: southern green beans, baked potato, pinto beans, and fried okra. Quite delicious!

We stopped last month for a late dinner, so, there was no "crowd", but the service was excellent. In fact, maybe too fast. We hadn't finished our salad when our dinner came. The special that day was prime rib. We both ordered and it was delicious. Don't exactly remember which day it was, but if you get a chance, order it. You won't be disappointed!

Sunday afternoon lunch ordered the specialty 14 Oz ribeye with steak fries , Mac n cheese and it was delicious. Steak had a great marinate to it. Had the cheese fries for appetizers and they was huge. Steve our server answered all questions we had and was very friendly and knowledgeable and on top of it. Definitely recommend. It has been on Guy Fieries Diners Drives in and Dives.

I've been here twice. Once in the evening around 9pm and I sat outside with my family. Everything was great. Food was good, drinks were good, service was good as well. Second time was today arriving at 6:30pm. However, differences we sat inside. If you want to be forgotten, just sit inside!! Having tables around us get their food before us when they were sat after us...is highly annoying! Asked about what's going on with our food since we had 4 entrees and 2 kids plates. Our server Steven H was a nice guy, honestly felt like he was overwhelmed. When I asked him able the dilemma he said he would get a manager which I appreciated. The manager however doesn't handle customers well. When I asked about what was going on and it taking a while she explained other tables had steaks and they had to make sure the chicken was fully cooked. Soo the plate she was referring too was the kids chicken plate, so three chicken tenders is what made all the food take a while to get. Oh on top of that, the fried food came out not even luke warm but room temperature. Giving three stars because my first time was great but my last time today wasn't. If you visit this restaurant, go outside!!! So you aren't forgotten! I'm sure the management is going to reply with such a great reasoning why... just saying we were a table of all Hispanics

Great food and lots of it. Chicken-steak is the best I have ever had. The service is also GREAT also.

I stopped in on Thursday evening and I'm glad I did. The place is very casual. Parking was difficult as well as getting to the location with all the construction but it's worth the extra effort to try the place out. I had a margarita at the bar which was excellent! I ordered the fried shrimp, mac & cheese and potato salad. All were delicious. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and fried. The mac & cheese was very good and cheesy. And the potato salad had to be one of the best that I've had out at a restaurant. What made my visit even more satisfying was the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. That was absolutely delicious. The staff at the bar was very friendly and very attentive. I will be back when I return to the area for work again!

Amazing atmosphere & service. The food menu is outstanding and the value is top notch.

The food was not what it used to be. The hubs and I both ordered steak. Mine was cooked correctly my husbands was way overdone. They did make it right though.

We came here only because we were running late on our original reservation at another restaurant near the beach area. We didn't want to drive any further in because our plans were to have dinner and watch the fireworks after. We seated outside because inside dinning weren't available. It works out because the atmosphere outside was nice. We didn't know they have live entertainment. I love the music they were singing. Food wasn't impressive at all. From appetizers to main course were disappointing. Fried mushrooms, fried pickles and onions rings. Very bland/flavorless unless you dipped the sauce. Normally fried food, the batters will have some seasoning but not here. It just flour coated. For me , World Famous sandwiches. Very bland/ meat were flavorless unless you eat with bbq sauces they provided. Gumbo and sausage soup were just salty, oily and no taste of gumbo. Chicken fried steak- very bland according to one of my family members. My other family member order some kind of chicken sandwich also said not impressive. My husband got the steak. I guess you can't go wrong with that except the side dish was salty. Mixed greens and corn. My son did like the All you can eat bbq ribs. Again it tastes good if they apply the bbq sauce. The only thing we appreciate were the live entertainment and our server. Our server was very attentive and friendly.

Great service. This week, had an early supper. I had chicken fried steak. Wife had sausage plate. Food was great, served hot with good sides. Service was quick with no delays. Have eaten here many times and never had any problem.

The armadillo egg was interesting and good. The blackened catfish was excellent. Music was good. Our waiter . Jacob, was fantastic! Great evening.
