Sweet & Vicious is your go-to Nolita bar for strong frozen margaritas, a spacious outdoor patio, and a lively crowd that keeps the vibe casual and fun.
"Who can say no to 80s and 90s throwback music and inexpensive frozen margaritas served in mason jars (have too many and they become "regretaritas")? Stop in for Happy Hour and enjoy the openness of the back patio. The crowd is nicely mixed, ranging from suits to recent grads to hipsters and anything in between. We typically find any reason to host an office event or Happy Hours here and even visit with friends on the weekends. Get there early so you don't miss out on the fun!" - Barrel
"Sweet and Vicious is one of the bigger bars in Nolita, and it’s also home to one of the area’s best back patios. Most people here will be drinking the signature frozen margaritas in a mason jar, and you probably should be doing so too if it’s 3:30 pm on a Friday. The backyard does get packed as day turns to evening, so we’d advise coming on the earlier side if you want to secure seating." - matt tervooren
"When: Mon, 4pm-7pm; Sun and Tues-Friday, 2pm-7pm The Deal: $1-$2 Off Beers and Margaritas You come to Sweet & Vicious for two things: frozen margaritas (they’re especially potent here) and an outdoor patio. If you’re here in the warmer months, it’s great for big groups—but it does get crowded." - neha talreja, bryan kim
"In almost any other part of town, Sweet and Vicious wouldn’t be that special. But there aren’t too many semi-divey bars in Nolita where you can drink a margarita with a group of coworkers and also maybe meet the next person you’re going to date. So if that’s what you want to do, come here. It gets extremely busy, but that’s kind of the point." - Bryan Kim, Carlo Mantuano, Kenny Yang, Hillary Reinsberg
"If you want to have an extremely casual group hang in Soho, you don’t really have that many options. Fortunately, there’s Sweet & Vicious. This place isn’t quite a dive bar, but it also isn’t really “nice.” Mostly, it’s just a big room with semi-cheap drinks and some lighting fixtures that might have been salvaged from a medieval dungeon. This place is usually a good time, and on Fridays during the summer you’ll find groups of coworkers packed onto the back patio drinking frozen margaritas and saying things they’ll regret the next morning." - bryan kim, katherine lewin, neha talreja, kenny yang
