Sur Plaza Hotel

Now a Best Western hotel although none of the signage has yet been changed. Accommodation was fine if a little dated. Bar and swimming pool much appreciated.

The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. It is a typical Best Western 3 star hotel. We stayed one night on our way to Wahiba Sands and after Wadi shab. Overall a comfortable stay for one night.

Stayed there with family between 5-6.7.2024 The hotel has a very nice lobby with business center and gift shop It has a restaurant and food is amazing as well as its service (the restaurant is 4 stars) it also has a swimming pool Very friendly stuff Rooms are okay in size but furniture seems to be old as well as room carpet seems to have some burned spots. It has money locker

I recently stayed at Sur Plaza Hotel and had a truly enjoyable experience. The hotel is well-located, offering easy access to Sur’s key attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The on-site dining options were impressive, with a variety of delicious dishes catering to different tastes. The breakfast buffet was particularly noteworthy, offering a wide range of fresh and tasty options to start the day right. Additionally, the hotel boasts excellent facilities, including a well-maintained swimming pool and a fitness center, adding to the overall convenience and enjoyment of the stay. One minor area for improvement could be the Wi-Fi speed, which occasionally lagged during peak hours. However, this did not significantly detract from the overall positive experience. In conclusion, Sur Plaza Hotel is a fantastic choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and great service in Sur. Highly recommended!

We came for dinner here two nights in a row. Food was lovely, but the service was amazing! We had Amir serving us both nights and wow! What fantastic service! He made sure our drinks were filled and our food was on time. I cannot fault him. Brilliant service.

Horrible to be honest, firstly the hotel Is the most expensive in the whole area, even more expensive than muscat hotels. I thought it’s okay maybe it’s the only good hotel In the area. We went in the smell of the paint in the whole Hotel was horrible. Thought again it’s okay maybe they’re renovating. They gave us a room the ac was not working and then i said we have an issue they sent someone to check on the ac while we were in the room and my fiance had to go hide in the bathroom while he was in the room, instead of changing the room on the spot. Finally to sum it all up the second day i asked them to heat my food that i have left over in the refrigirator from the previous day. They refusedd!! And said we can’t heat outside food like they’re soo greedy that they would prefer for me to throw my food just so i can order from theirs restaurant. Worst hospitality ever! This is not what i’m used to in oman and this hotel doesnt represent the omani community and hospitality

"I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. The entire hotel team ensured our stay was memorable. Breakfast was fine—not a lot of options, but sufficient if you’re not picky. The pool was big and not crowded, so I had it to myself. Special mention to the receptionist who checked me in; he was very accommodating. I really loved the room. Their exceptional service and attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. Highly recommended! If you're looking for a decent hotel, I recommend staying at SUR PLAZA HOTEL."
