"Golden And Delicious Another dish that originates in Hanoi , banh tom is made from battered and deep fried shrimp and sweet potato. The distinctive orange/gold colour comes from the flesh of the potato and turmeric powder in the batter. Wrap the morsels in leaves and herbs and dip into nuoc cham (fish sauce with chilli)."

Beautiful vantage point over the city. Great cocktails and tasty small plates! Lift to 19th then transfer to lift for 20th floor or walk up the stairs. Lovely introduction to Hanoi! Recommend! 👌🏻

I had a really lovely time at The Summit Bar. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the start. I made a reservation about one hour earlier than planned and asked for a terrace table – and they kindly made it possible. Everyone was very polite and accommodating, and the atmosphere was great. A perfect place to enjoy the view and feel well taken care of. Would definitely recommend!

If you’re looking for the most iconic spot in Hanoi to enjoy an aperitivo, Summit Bar at the Pan Pacific Hotel is the place to be. With stunning rooftop views and a classy atmosphere, it’s the ultimate location for a real Aperol Spritz including a unique twist made with lychee, which was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh and incredibly tasty, perfectly matching the quality of the drinks. The staff were professional and genuinely helpful in guiding us through the menu, both for cocktails and food. But the real highlight? The terrace it offers a breathtaking view over the huge West Lake, and if you go at sunset, you’ll enjoy a magical moment with good food, great drinks, and an unforgettable ambiance. It’s also one of the most Instagrammable spots in town! Highly recommended – 100%! 🍹🌅✨

We held our wedding afterparty at the Summit Bar, and it was absolutely perfect. After all the endless wedding planning, it was a relief that the team here took care of everything so smoothly. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, especially Hien. The drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere among our guests was brilliant, and the whole evening had that magical feel that you wish for for your wedding. And then there’s the view... without question, the best in Hanoi. If you’re looking for a stunning spot to celebrate a special occasion, I Highly recommend Summit Bar.

Summit Bar on the 20th floor of Pan Pacific offers an amazing view of Hanoi, especially toward Thanh nien Street. The space is cozy and perfect for dates. Staff are very professional and helpful, even assisting with changing to an outdoor table. The menu focuses on cocktails with limited non-alcoholic options, and the drinks are average. Most people come here for the stunning view rather than the drinks.

WARNING!! Food poisoning!! I had to update my review. My friend had food poisoning after eating here. He ate the soft shell crab and I didn’t, immediately after eating, he said it didn’t smell right. That night, he started experiencing food poisoning symptoms and having fever. I got him antibiotics and a bunch of other medicine the next morning to help him deal w the symptoms. He had a flight from Hanoi to Boston the night after eating at this place and thankfully the medicines worked. Worst experience ever. Avoid this place especially the food. I used to come here pretty frequently whenever I am in Hanoi but will never go here ever again!! Original review below: Great drinks and amazing view. However, the food was terrible to say the least. We ordered 3 dishes which came after 45 mins of waiting (we were told the food was going to come after 20 mins). Every single item we were served were cold, dry, hard, overcooked, and they tasted like they had been sitting there for a few hours. I would not recommend ordering food here, for such price, the food should at least be edible. We had to tell the staff to reheat the soft shell crabs (which was soggy and cold), and the yakitori (meat skewers which was super dry and hard) and even after heating, it did not improve. Please do not serve food to customers if you can’t make it right.
