Sey Coffee is a trendy micro-roastery in East Williamsburg where bright, expertly crafted lattes and a greenery-filled, airy space steal the show.
"A monthly subscription to coffee roasted at Sey, an excellent coffee roaster based in Bushwick, will ensure you’ll always have the taste of New York within arm's reach."
"A bright and airy sky-lit warehouse decorated with potted plants, Sey Coffee feels more West Coast than Bushwick. But it’s more than just a pretty space. Sey is regarded as one of the better microroasters in NYC. Founders Tobin Polk and Lance Schnorenberg favor a light, clean Nordic-style flavor profile highly regarded by the coffee cognoscenti." - Eater Staff
"Sey is something of a rising star in the coffee world. At least according to three separate people who stopped to tell us this during our last visit. Coffee aficionados go out of their way to try this Brooklyn-based roastery’s beans, available at their plant-filled store in East Williamsburg. Sey switches up their espresso, iced, and drip selections every month, and specializes in ultra-light roasts from single-source producers. It’s a nice, airy warehouse with more benches and bars than tables, so don’t count on room for your laptop. Come here when you’re ready to learn what a “washed coffee” is." - neha talreja
"The most pretentious coffee drinker you know probably has enthusiastic opinions about Sey, and you should listen. The Brooklyn-based micro roastery is internationally known for being one of the best to do ultra-light roasts, using their own beans from single-source producers. Even if you don’t know what any of that means, it’s still incredibly pleasant to drink a latte or cortado in their airy, plant-filled East Williamsburg warehouse space. Just keep in mind that there are more benches and bars than tables and outlets, so it’s not ideal for laptop work. Come where when you’re ready to learn what “washed” coffee is." - Neha Talreja
"He brings his intentional care to his coffee, too, sourcing his beans from critically acclaimed micro-roaster Sey Coffee in Brooklyn." - Caroline Shin
