"The fine contemporary-Asian cuisine at the Sea Shell, a sister restaurant to Nu Eatery (also in Hoi An), has been a hit ever since it opened in 2015. Set in a lovingly restored fisherman’s home on An Bang Beach, north of the main part of the town, the building has a soothing sky-blue exterior, hefty wooden tables, eclectically mismatched chairs and benches, potted plants, both indoor and alfresco garden dining, and a relaxed, homey atmosphere. The simple menu includes tempura prawn rolls, a handful of salads and soups, and entrées like the signature banh mi. The desserts are not to be missed."

A little hidden away gem. The restaurant share its location with a cafe next door. Beautiful to sit outside. Food is well priced and tasty! Service is good. We had the bao, rolls and garlic bread options.

You have to eat here if you visit Hoi An! This was my favourite meal we had during our visit and we ended up going back the following day for more. We tried the pork Bao, chicken Bao, pork meatballs, and pork belly sandwich - all are absolutely amazing, but the pork Bao are particularly good! The chocolate cake and cinnamon roll are also fab.

A great but tiny lace place to eat in old town. We wanted to have something interesting and this place surprised us with Pomelo and Ananas salat. A great sweet and sour combination of taste. They serve one of the best shrimp burgers in town. And tasty meatballs but be aware they are spicy! The only one downside- the place is literally tiny. I couldn’t not fit in to the door and the sealing are relatively low.

The Seashell Nu Eatery is an excellent restaurant that I highly recommend. The food here is absolutely delicious, with flavors that are both fresh and satisfying. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, making it a great value overall. During my visit, I tried the “Bánh bao xá xíu” (BBQ pork buns), “Shrimp Spring Rolls,” and “Fried Rice with Pork.” Every single dish was outstanding — well-seasoned, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the balance of flavors showed real attention to detail. Whether you’re looking for a casual meal or a nice dining experience, The Seashell Nu Estery is definitely worth a visit. I will absolutely be coming back!

The food was amazing and for a great price as well. The pulled pork sand-which was our favourite. Only complaint as it’s pretty warm in there.

Such a lovely little spot tucked away in a charming side street in Hoi An. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was very friendly. I had the bao bun as a starter and it was amazing—one of the best I’ve had! For the main, I went with rice and vegetables. It was flavorful and fresh, though a bit oily for my taste. Still, overall a really nice experience and worth a visit if you’re in the area.

After eating Vietnamese food for almost three weeks straight - we needed a little break and this was it! We ordered so many tacos 😂 and they were delishhhhhh! We also ordered the avocado salad, pork bun bao (Bang Bao) which were amazing and finally Jazmin rice with market veggies with lemongrass pork. Everything was delicious, I really recommend it! I love tacos so I can say that they’re totally approved by a taco sommelier ! 🤣 I would say that regular would spend about 100k per person but we ordered so much food (3 sets of tacos, 2 buns, etc)

This is the kind of food you have to close your eyes when you take a bite and just enjoy what you just ate. I would easily put this in my top 5 meals of my life. We came 3 times during our 4 days in hoi an. I recommend the whole menu cause everything we tried was amazing. The chocolate cake is a MUST if you want something you’ll never forget. Definitely try the bao buns, they melt in your mouth. The ragu is delectable and the bowls are AMAZING. 100/10 stars. I would recommend this place everytime.
